About Me

I am a compassionate honest woman who loves the outdoors. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, snow shoeing, horseback riding. I enjoy photography, cooking, reading and laughter! What do I think makes me unique...well perhaps it is my can do attitude toward life, I am a realist, but I think I can do anything I put my hand to do and age has little to do with anything unless one is old in their mind. I'm happy, peaceful and love to laugh and enjoy helping others laugh too. I am not into drama unless it's on TV... :) I do like to watch TV but am not a sit in front of it day and night kind of girl. I enjoy reading in front of the fireplace, talking a walk or puttering around my house fixing or sprucing things up. I enjoy gardening, a bike ride or just sitting on the swing in the backyard looking up at the stairs - alone or with a friend - either way I am comfortable.My friendships are with folks I have known most of my life. Althouhg have made some new ones along the way also. Friendship and family are important to me.I would like to met someone who enjoys nature and at least some of the activities I enjoy and would be willing to teach me to do the things they enjoy as well. I think having a sense of humor and being "glass is half full" approach to life is important. I am a positive person and think it would be best to find someone who shares a similar approach to life. It would be nice to have a partner who enjoys doing things together, sharing the simple things in life as well as our own little adventures. I think communication is the key to a healthy relationship, compromising and seeing both sides of the coin before one 'digs' their heels in on something. I care more about people than things, but have been very blessed in on all fronts. I am a person of deep faith and I see God everywhere when I am in nature and I figure if He can make all of that work so perfectly, he must have a pretty good plan for us mere humans... I try and walk out my life by following Christ's example. And I have a really great life, filled with lots of peace and enjoyment. Sharing this with a partner would be important to me. If any of this sparks your interest. I would enjoy hearing from you. It would be nice to sit on a park bench, go for a walk, sit and have coffee anything that would afford us the opportunity to chat and get to know each other. I love to have fun, but I value life way to much to try and force date...if you know what I mean...I think getting to know someone should come naturally and I think the best way to achieve this is to talk honestly, listen intently and to do it some place /quite/peaceful and relaxing.After that, if we 'click' let's hike mountains, laugh until we cry and have fun while we grow a friendship and whatever else may come after that...

    I'm a Greek woman.... that has journey'd quite a long time..... I'm a simple Lady,simple life..... Lost the ones that I love..... Not sure of what I search for..yet happy within my self... I live in the middle of the forest in an old home that yep...needs alot of repair....I have lived at one time the 'high' life but rather would have the lower valley....... and love to serve others. I'm an outdoors gal, that loves to fish and hunt. I find Bow hunting to be a challenge as well. I'm not fancy... I'm a country gal, that doesn't work well in a dress or high heels. I fancy to long walks by the river, I enjoy Arrowhead hunting and finding artifacts. I have a great love for critters and animals, and for some reason I attract butterflies, they will land on me, and they won't leave. hahahaaa I have an uncanny ability to walk closely among the wild animals...My husband died in a helicopter crash in ***....He was the true love of my life... and forever will be missed my truest friend I have ever had..and was there until I was taken wrongly and sold to US citizens....We have since been reunited. However, my Journey has been a tough one with many sorrows and trials. I have learned and gotten through them so far..... I beleive you have to cry a river...build a bridge...and get over it. That is what has kept me all these many years..... I like the trek of going where no man has ever been. I enjoy hiking very much... I like to pack a sack of fruit and snaks and just take off for the day..not knowing where I will end up. I would much rather share soup and a sandwich than to go to any fancy restaurant... I am who I am... nothing special at all. I have my scars.... my hands are not that of a model...they have worked hard for many years.. I have lines in my face... made from sorrow and laughter... but my heart and love for others.... have never changed. I find pleasure and happiness in the smaller things around me.... I love the river here!!! and the Lake! I love WATER! I so enjoy fishing..or just paddling the boat down the river. One of my passions is music and have been honored to play for some great Artists of our time. Of the *** I play, my passion are the percussion conga's. Island , Blues, and the Old Rock n' Roll. one of my hobbies is Arrow Head and artifact hunting. I also so enjoy gardening and canning the old country way. I enjoy the critters that cross my path and have a special way with Butterflies. My Spirituality runs bone deep and love to explore and research the many cultures. .
