Update June 22, ***: I have had my profile hidden for the past few months to figure out if perhaps I was misrepresenting myself (and the answer is NO!) and just take a break from meetville for a while. So today I am putting on the swimsuit, unhiding my profile and jumping back into the meetville pond! Only decision now is to decide if I should change anything that is listed in it and well...I think my profile says it all and is fine the way it is! So there you have it!Happy Summer!***I am pretty easy-going, laid back...but will admit that I can get wound up (okay, maybe more than I care to admit, but life can be sooo exciting sometimes!!) I can be funny and/or serious, too. I love spending time with my family, especially my grandsons... I am not athletic, but like to be competitive and do enjoy watching most sports. (I've always said that my son did not get his athletic ability from me! Although I enjoy doing some things on my own, I would prefer to do most things with a special someone or friends. I like amusement parks and think I would like ziplining and would like to try indoor skydiving before jumping from a perfectly good airplane. There are many more things I'm sure to enjoy but have never been with someone that shared those interests!I am comfortable in my jeans, sweatshirt and a ponytail but also love getting dressed up for a night out on the town. I love to take spur of the moment road trips and travel by plane. I have a Class A CDL, so have seen the US (as much as one can see driving 65 mph down the road), but I also have my passport and hope to get overseas soon. I like to be out on (but not necessarily in) the water and even like to go fishing...freshwater or deep sea. I like taking walks in the woods, slow dancing, sitting by a campfire, etc. This cool grandma would love to meet someone to socialize with. I enjoy most types of music, but tend to listen most to those I can understand the words and/or sing along…country, 70’s/80’s rock, pop, barbershop, etc. I’m going to be upfront and probably kill a few ‘fish’ in the process (I’m throwing the stick of dynamite in the water now) by saying that I’ve been married 3 times before…#1; we were too young…#2; was too much of a homebody with absolutely no outside hobbies or friends (but jealous of mine) and after 20 years, well…#3; was too wild and irresponsible. I have been divorced since March ***and am not really looking to rush into a long-term relationship at this point in time, but that is my ultimate goal. For now though, just friends first, please. I admit that I was not perfect either…I am quiet but not too prudish; I am a social person but not a party animal (much, lol). I come from a huggy, kissy family that loves helping others…I am a hopeless romantic; I am not a gold digger….I like being employed outside the home but, like everyone else, wish I didn’t have to do it alone. So I guess my ideal guy would be tall (over 5’5” -; handsome (by my definition only); someone who sings and/or appreciates music (including barbershop); be somewhat of a romantic; have your own friends/hobbies as I will have mine and perhaps we can enjoy some friends/hobbies together; like to travel; be funny; you must also have a ‘responsible’ wild side...does someone like that even exist? Am I afraid to fall in love again? Perhaps a little, but we are all where we are today having been shaped by the people we have met and the experiences we have had along the way. Am I okay alone? Certainly, but I miss/loved being married; soft kisses and touches just because; long bear hugs after either of us has had an especially trying day or week; the nights just being quiet together cuddled on the couch knowing where we both stand without saying a word...and the list goes on....FYI - To those who are familiar with the 5 Love Languages - mine are Quality Time, Acts of Service and Physical Touch. And so I will continue to keep an open mind because I know that when God closes a door, he always leaves a window open and you never know what each day will bring...after all, 'Life is...what happens when you are busy making other plans!'One more thing about me (from a recent conversation with my mother): We were discussing my 2 siblings and I in relation to the traits each of us had acquired from our parents, my mother told me that I was 'gritty' like my father..I laughed and told her that I should add that to my dating profile...Woman with True Grit...(how sexy is that? LOL) In all honesty, I can and will be as strong as I need to be, but Lord, it sure will be nice to find someone someday who can be my rock! Let's talk and decide when the time comes....***\\***Plz***\\\***Put This***On Your***Account If***You Know***\\\***Someone***\\***Who has Died***\***From Cancer or is ***\\\***Battling this Disease***\\\***Now

Aye, Aye, Aye...is it true? Yes,it is! I'm a single mom whose kids are finally old enough to manage themselves without ***supervision! You know what that means, right? Well, maybe not necessarily off her feet but at least catch her attention! Maybe you can tell that this momma likes to laugh, joke around, and have some fun! The news of today can sometimes just be such a drag that sometimes you just have to pull that one practical joke - like the mating of the hairs?? hehehe Or the upside down cup on the counter and of course your child has some how managed to defy the sciences because their is water under the cup? hahaha Okay well yes Momma can be funny but Momma also enjoys a good conversation, a romantic dinner for two, and star-gazing on a cool summer night in the country. Conversation from the latest of who's who in the news to politics. Or a discussion over a good book, a movie, or documentary along with a good glass of wine or a warm cup of coffee while sitting out on the back porch watching the sun go down or from inside a cozy warm living room watching the snow fall with soft playing music in the back ground. A passion for cooking and baking for that special someone is another important thing to bring up - Momma will not be held accountable for any sudden weight gain that you may experience! lol Just kidding, eating healthy and taking care of what the Good Lord gave you is very important. The Good Lord gave us two legs to stand on so sometimes we might shake things up a bit and find adventure on a day long road trip or a spontaneous picnic at Ledges State Park complete with a hike along the river. Or Saturday morning treasure shopping at local garage sales. Maybe even take in the Farmer's Market. This momma is seeking a man who can handle a strong, independent, yet compassionate woman that likes to look her best when standing next to her man. This man would be someone who takes care of himself, is clean cut, and not conceited but is comfortable to be around; as well as knowing how to treat a lady so she feels extra special - your Princess. To this regard, Momma loves the simpler things in life - wildflower bouquets, amazing sunsets, and true friendship. As Momma is 6'1" tall, and could stand to lose a few pounds (no Im not that big); you should be of the same stature or more. Well if you have made it this far; then what do you have to lose? A coffee date? Lunch? Oh and I don't mind going Dutch! Let's see what happens! Coffee or a walk along the river...something simple...yet fun...
