Swimming isn't really my thing, but I’ve gotten much better, and I enjoy the challenge of a swim, followed by fun ride and run. This year I scaled back my race schedule a bit to focus on doing longer races a little faster. I’m signed up for two Olympic distance and three 70.3 (i.e. half-Ironman) distance races. Why might you care? My training schedule translates into not having a lot of time for dating right now. However, I hope that creates a situation where there is a good getting-to-know-you period. Of course, if you (fingers crossed) are into triathlons or some component thereof, I always enjoy having a training partner. Yay!My faith is my foundation, and I am looking for a partner who shares that. Coffee, a walk or bike ride, something simple with an active component.

I'm originally from a small town but fit in much better here. I enjoy music, laughing, dancing, concerts, relaxing, pool, darts, craft beer, bloody marys, camping, and traveling. I'm very laid back, open-minded, love road trips, driving fast, talking politics, and hitting up the $2 theater.I'm a certified optician, have a degree in audio technology, and most of my time is spent with music providing the soundtrack. My favorite television show was Lost.Music: Presets, Does it Offend You, Yeah?; the Tantrums, The Kills, The Raconterus, Alkaline Trio, Against Me, Billy Talent, Emanuel, Rise Against, Underground & selective mainstream hip-hop, House music, Drum and bass, Electro, Techno, and Garage, I'm an old party kid at heart still, and I have a lot of my favorite tracks on vinyl.I like and have a great respect for the classic stuff too, I'm a juke box hero when at the dive bar, and make a killer mix cd if you're into that sort of thing.Food: I'm eating more and more organic these days, I like to cook and grill, sushi, Mexican, and Italian are probably my favorites.I think this is way more awkward than meeting people in public but I'm giving it a try. I don't spend much time on here but, I want to meet people outside of my circle.Finally, I recently got in an accident and my car was totaled rendering me temporarily carless. I'm currently shopping around and getting another one soon but, just a heads up if that's an issue. If you're in the metro area it's not a problem with buses and taxis, I get around just fine. Coffee, happy hour, sushi or something of the sort. I'm open to whatever really, if you have a better idea, let's do that.
