The first date is usually the most awkward due to the questions that are posed -having to ask/answer...maybe the best way to get over that is to just meet at a casual place-even an outdoor arena where you could people watch or walking in a park...breaking the ice can be hard but a little humor goes a long way to make me relax, so definitely a few jokes are in order. Also, a good cup of coffee or a light lunch at a cafe by the water.
