I am a people person. I work around the elderly and just find people completely fascinating. I enjoy being in the sun and exploring the beauty around me. I love to play tennis as well as snowboard, surf and bake. If someone can get me to smile or laugh that usually brings me out of my shell quite a bit. I am very spontaneous and enjoy the random things in life. I like watching stars and walks in any type of weather. I also enjoy the flip side like pulling over on the side of the road to watch hot air balloons or playing at parks. I am a very hardworking woman who has had to be nothing but that for a good part of my life. Im very much family oriented and value all of my siblings a great deal. I've learned to love a lot, and to not be anything but happy in life because that's what I want for me as well as for others. I'm a fairly open individual once you get to know me so feel free to ask about anything!! I believe very much in marrying and being with my best friend for the rest of my life so I think a first date would just have to be simply fun and random like me. Something we would both feel comfortable doing. I'm not much for the whole first date take them out to dinner thing, I would rather go kayaking or just get coffee.

All this affects my ability to drop everything and pay total attention to YOU...give me a break and be understanding. I promise that I'll do the best I can if you'll do the best you can! I don't think you'll be disappointed. Being an adult means understanding the art of compromise. If you don't understand that, you're not adult enough for me. I am not desperate because I am single & I am single because I'm NOT desperate. I listen to country music because I can understand the words and the story behind the lyrics. However, I also listen to R & B, classic Rock and Yanni.E.M., R. When I'm mad, Eminem blares, and no one sings angry break- You heard me right....gospel. In other words...I love music by anyone that has that special ability to move me with a melody! And yes, I'm that middle aged person at the stoplight with the speakers thumpin' out the bass beat! "If it's too loud, you're too old!" My latest adventure in life was my return to college in pursuit of my Bachelors Degree in Health Sciences after a 30 year break. It tested what was left of my sanity! I'm proud to say I graduated Summa Cum Laude (with highest honors) and a 3.96 GPA. Internet dating is interesting. There are lots of opportunities, and lots of people rejected without ever meeting. I love to meet someone for coffee and dessert. (Lunch or dinner is tooooo long to be sitting with someone that you don't click with). Or maybe a quick drink in a place that allows conversation. Gentlemen...Please... Unless specifically asked, this first meeting is NOT the best time to brag about your "skills" in the bedroom...seriously..that just smacks of desperation and its a bit pathetic. A truly good lover won't have to brag or try to impress anyway. When you leave after a brief visit and realize the time flew past and you still have things you want to tell that person...you're onto something.If, after your meeting, you have the feeling of "I'm not that lonely yet"...keep MOVING!!!!!
