A date, a friendship, a romance?Would anyone else like to have a date, that grows into a friendship, that might turn into a romance?Who else would like to talk, laugh, and enjoy time together with a special person?I hope to find someone that wants to share both low-key, relaxing times at homeand exciting, fun activities in the community. (or vice-versa)Developing a friendship, is the best way to start. If you too, are looking for someone to share the enjoyment and quirks that life has to offer,I would love to hear from you.I can be fun, and interesting. My sense of humor is pretty good, and I enjoy playful banter.I also have a peaceful side.I love to read, and enjoy spending time relaxing, and doing projects at home. The challenge is finding a fair balance between these two sides.I want to find a life partner that can be comfortable with just me, sharing a home-life.But not so sludge-like that he has no desire or energy to find and enjoy out of the house activities.A non-smoker.A man that doesn't take himself so seriously.A man that understands that kissing can be an art-form, if done well. Please . . .-cream cone.

I grew up where you met someone through friends or shared activities - out in the real world. But today - it seems to happen "virtually"...not my preferred way...but what the heck I'm up for new things! Basically, I'm pretty easy going and handle my life (and what little baggage I have - because I have lived a bit lol) with grace and a free spirit. I'm open to new opportunities and work hard - sometimes I'm told I work too hard. I can keep confidences, conduct myself as appropriate to the situation and my family and friends are held very close to my heart. I'm not interested in "casual hook ups" or serial dating (I believe that's what it's called these days) but rather meeting someone nice on mutual terms and seeing what happens. As someone once told me "Let the art wash over you". I like that statement. Life is a tapestry we build with each experience and after raising my children (I have ***girl and a boy) I find myself now ready to see what else life has to offer!I posted a picture of myself without makeup - fresh up out of bed on a Saturday morning - because I don't believe in presenting only the "made up me" but the "real me" too. Now guys - that takes guts! (Haha) and should clue you in on a couple of things about my nature. What you see is what it is -- and I'm working towards the "best" me for this time in my life. A healthy active lifestyle is being built ... but like most things - it's a work in progress. I am happy with myself - my life - and have a sense of humor about most things. If we can't laugh at ourselves once in awhile and appreciate the differences - Meet for coffee

I'm a busy single mom. I have two teenagers, one girl, one boy. I have two jobs, and not a lot of free time, but I'd like to find a friend(s) to go to the movies with, out to lunch with, hiking, hit some Saturday markets, or just hang out. I love my kids, but sometimes I just want to talk to another grownup :-)I can be a little shy, although I usually try to pretend I'm not. Sometimes that works...sometimes it doesn't. I enjoy talking and listening to someone else's story. I'm not much of a drinker. I don't want to drink in front of my kids and I don't drink and drive, so that's kind of limiting. I don't smoke and I don't play around with drugs. I actually have a good time stone cold sober and can amuse myself with my own thoughts for quite a while--I can even amuse others with my thoughts at times!I enjoy country music and can sing along with many of the songs on the radio, although I only do that in the privacy of my car, when driving alone. I don't sing well, so I make up for it by singing loudly, and no one I know well enough to have in my car deserves to be subjected that particular torture.I'm a big believer in treating others as I'd like to be treated, so I try to be kind and helpful and just plain old nice most of the time, but I do have a smart mouth sometimes. It's part of my charm!I can hang out with just about anybody, but if I were dating a guy, I'd like him to be tall and without facial hair. I just hate beards and mustashes--although I sort of like the old 5 o'clock shadow.
