About Me

Yes, I like walks on the beach, chick flicks and romantic evenings, BUT I haven't had any of those things for a long time. I spend a significant amount of time singing in my blues band and giving voice lessons. Music is a large part of my life. The biggest support in my life is my faith. It is important to me to find someone that looks to God for guidance and direction in life. I was brought up in the church, and I know that for any relationship to work it needs to be grounded in a solid foundation found in only God. As the new year begins, I have decided to intentionally make some changes. One change is to pursue connections. I believe that I have some great qualities that could connect me to a meaningful relationship. I am a devoted person. I love deeply and look for ways to help others. I look for the best in people. I see most things in a positive light rather than look for the negative. Many people think I am younger than I am because I steer away from styles that suggest my age. I love to try color, scarves and jewelry that puts a twist on something plain. I try to eat healthy and exercise regularly, even if that means I just keep moving throughout the day. I enjoy the history and science of winemaking and sampling some of the signature wines. Traveling between wineries, we would enjoy a relaxing conversation to get to know each other. The day would be complete with a beautiful dinner at a lovely restaurant.

    Not really a hobby but my favorite thing in life is being a mom to my 2 grown children. Nathan has started college this fall and studying Accounting and playing baseball.     Motorcycle chick in a dress???? What does this mean?? Well, I am a woman who can ride a motorcycle, change a tire, climb a ladder, is not afraid to get dirty, work hard but can put herself in a dress and look like she would never do those things. I'm not a needy person. I like being swept off my feet by a man and like to be rescued but for the right reasons. I like being treated like a woman. I have a varied taste in music and like a little bit of most anything and even enjoy some of the music that my children listen to but I am not a fan of heavy metal music. I would enjoy sitting with a cup of coffee in a coffee shop that is quiet and getting to know the person I am with, hearing the stories that make that person love the life they are living, what makes them happy, what intrigues them, and what in their life challenges them.
