About Me

Yes, I like walks on the beach, chick flicks and romantic evenings, BUT I haven't had any of those things for a long time. I spend a significant amount of time singing in my blues band and giving voice lessons. Music is a large part of my life. The biggest support in my life is my faith. It is important to me to find someone that looks to God for guidance and direction in life. I was brought up in the church, and I know that for any relationship to work it needs to be grounded in a solid foundation found in only God. As the new year begins, I have decided to intentionally make some changes. One change is to pursue connections. I believe that I have some great qualities that could connect me to a meaningful relationship. I am a devoted person. I love deeply and look for ways to help others. I look for the best in people. I see most things in a positive light rather than look for the negative. Many people think I am younger than I am because I steer away from styles that suggest my age. I love to try color, scarves and jewelry that puts a twist on something plain. I try to eat healthy and exercise regularly, even if that means I just keep moving throughout the day. The day would be complete with a beautiful dinner at a lovely restaurant.

    Hi, Thanks for reading a little about me....: I am a very driven,independent, fun-loving, confident,lady. I really do not take myself that seriously, life is way too short. I am so blessed that I come from a great family, I grew up as a tomboy in a neighborhood full of boys and raised by my Dad . We lived on the 10th hole of a golf course, so golf has always been a big part of my life. My Dad was a huge sports fan, thus I love sports of all kinds, love college sports the best ( The Buckeyes)! I do love the Bears, the Cubbies, the Blackhawks, the Bulls and sometimes even the Sox. Although I grew up as a tomboy, I am nothing but lady. I can easily take off my baseball cap and fit into my little black dress and I enjoy being very feminine. I embrace the person I have become and don't really sweat the little stuff. I have two teenagers who still like me, and sometimes even spend a little time with me. They are my priority. I am finding now that I have much more time than I use to. I have a great job that I can work way too much at. I work out , I run,( I am a slow runner) and bike. Working out really helps me not only physically but also mentally.     This is the hard part .... We are getting older and wiser but yet still want a trophy on our arm. We need to learn to look on the inside of a person more so than the outside.
