Hi, Thanks for reading a little about me....: I am a very driven,independent, fun-loving, confident,lady. I really do not take myself that seriously, life is way too short. I am so blessed that I come from a great family, I grew up as a tomboy in a neighborhood full of boys and raised by my Dad . We lived on the 10th hole of a golf course, so golf has always been a big part of my life. My Dad was a huge sports fan, thus I love sports of all kinds, love college sports the best ( The Buckeyes)! I do love the Bears, the Cubbies, the Blackhawks, the Bulls and sometimes even the Sox. Although I grew up as a tomboy, I am nothing but lady. I can easily take off my baseball cap and fit into my little black dress and I enjoy being very feminine. I embrace the person I have become and don't really sweat the little stuff. I have two teenagers who still like me, and sometimes even spend a little time with me. They are my priority. I am finding now that I have much more time than I use to. I have a great job that I can work way too much at. I work out , I run,( I am a slow runner) and bike. Working out really helps me not only physically but also mentally. About what I am looking for: I am looking for a gentleman who is very confident. I like someone who also has a good work ethic and understands the importance of family and good friends. A great guy who enjoys life and wants to laugh a lot. I am good material for someone, in fact, I crack myself up all the time! I love sports and they must be able to watch a good college football or basketball game with me. I don't want to be in control or be controlled. I like honesty and integrity. Well......I’ve been internet dating for a couple of years......my motto for ***is to do something different.....put it all out there with the goal of finding someone who eventually wants to share their life with me and wants to share my life. That said .....here is a little about me.I was married for 24 years and have been divorced for 7 years. I have enjoyed all of my life. Got married, raised kids and had fun doing all of it. My ex-husband and I got the kids raised and realized we didn’t have that much in common.....we were too young to stay in a less than happy marriage. He and I were always good parents together.....the kids turned out good. At 26 and 24, my son and daughter are both off on their own. My son was quite a challenge to raise.....the kid survived, the marriage did not.So that is the history.....hope I didn’t bore ya! My motto in life is “If you want something, you have to get out there and create it for yourself.” I don’t believe good things just “happen”. We each have a huge influence in our fate. I have a good job that I enjoy, and I work with a bunch of great people who I learn from everyday. BUT I work to live, not the other way around. I like to get out there and enjoy my free time. It makes me wish there were 4 days in the work week and 3 days every weekend! Some of the activities I like are kayaking, hiking, biking, going to local festivals, listening to live music, trying new restaurants and sharing a glass of wine with friends. I have a lot of good friends....I hope you do, too. I am a very social person. I live alone, but I enjoy being out with people! I am very open to trying new activities. What do you like to do? Oh, one more thing...I like kissing. A physical relationship is important, too.What am I looking for in a man? A sense of humor is a must. Yeah, I can talk serious, but I like to tease and be teased. Witty conversation and playful banter are a turn-on to me. Ya gotta have fun, no? Since my kids are important to me, I tend to get along best with guys who also have kids.
