So, while I’m not necessarily looking for anything serious, I’m not looking to just hook-up either. I prefer to let things flow and see what happens. I'm pretty random in my taste in movies and music. I like just about anything and everything or can find something to appreciate, except scary movies I am a chicken sh*twhen it comes to those. I am active with a local horse rescue and usually end up spending a lot of free time there. I work two part time jobs, clean stalls to pay for my riding lessons and, in the summer, I pet sit. I'm pretty busy, but I make time for the people and things I enjoy =). I am fairly responsible. For fun I’m usually at the barn, hanging out with friends, reading, or trying to find somewhere new to explore/drive to. I’m a bit of a dork, I can act mature, but I'm also a kid at heart. I know there is a time and place for fun and I was raised with manners. I like to be laughing and having a good time (and no that doesn't just mean drinking) and if you dont like to joke around and enjoy a good laugh we probably aren’t going to hang out a lot. I'm sarcastic and I tease people relentlessly, I appreciate the same in turn, so don’t be shy. I also enjoy a challenge, can never say no and will work at it until I complete it =). Also, I don't like guys that always let me get my way. Argue with me(not serious screaming matches, but have opinions and stand up for them) and dont be someone that let's everyone walk all over them. Also, be respectful. You don't always have to hold doors open for me and things, but if I or any girl says no about anything, respect it. I respect you as long as you dont give me a reason not to or disrespect me. And I'm not a girly girl. I can wear skirts and dresses occasionally but thats rare. I'm more likely to be wearing jeans. As far as what I am looking for… Well lets start with I’m not looking for someone to spoil me or “take care of me”, I enjoy my independence and whoever I date has to be independent as well. I mean there is nothing wrong with a little spoiling or attention now and then, but not all the time. At the same time, I am an affectionate person. I will also tell you, I am the first one to complain someone never texted me back and also the first to admit that I am a hypocrite and sometimes forget to respond to people. I prefer brutal honesty, even if it isn’t something I want to hear, I hate being lied to. You have to like animals, or at least be ok with them. My dog, Kahlua, is my baby and honestly, if she doesn’t like you I probably wont either (don’t worry, she likes just about everyone, especially if you give her a cookie, tell her she’s a pretty girl and scratch her ears) =). I am interested in meeting someone who is looking to hang out, get to know each other and see where things go. Sometimes I think being on an online dating site puts too much pressure on things to turn into something. I am interested in meeting new people if only just to be friends I am a down home kinda girl, who loves to have fun. My family get togethers are always huge and a blast. I love my family and its very important to me. I'm the kind of person who really cares about my family and friends and will do anything for them, so if you find yourself doing things for you in lieu of others I don't think we will get along.I am a little old fashioned. I like a guy with manners and romance. I love a guy who can take control and be protective within reason. I enjoy taking care of my man making sure he is happy.I love taking spontaneous adventures as much as a day in bed with movies and take out. I enjoy going to gym and escaping from the stressed of everyday life. But what I really enjoy is taking the gym outside. I love hiking biking swimming kayaking. No need to be inside on a treadmill for an hour when you can do the same thing outside in the fresh air. I love to cook. And clean for the most part. I like things to look nice.
