I'm not a girly girl but that happens when you're the only girl on both sides of the family. I'm looking for a cute geeky guy who likes sports and traveling. Someone who desires intellectual chats while sampling craft beers/wine at the end of an adventure. Must be honest and trustworthy. I work in the computer software industry and typically travel ***weeks out of the month for my job. Even though I'm in the computer industry I'm only part geek. In my travels I've been to 23 of the 30 baseball stadiums so far and I would like to be able to go to the rest of them. I enjoy watching football and going to hockey games. I've even been to an NHL All Star Game. I am on here to date to find a relationship. I am NOT on here for hookups.P.S. - Since the latest meetville update it seems to use the GPS in my tablet to show I'm local to whatever area I'm traveling in. I don't do booty calls, but with my job I can pretty much live anywhere near a major airport. I've lived in VA and on the IL/WI border before and I have a few other favorite cities I've entertained potentially moving to in the future because the city fits my style, not because I've met someone. So if you see I'm in town and are looking to meet and hang out with a cool chick for a drink or dinner paired with fun and intelligent conversation then feel free to chat me up, we never know. With my travel any relationship would be partial long distance no matter where I live. (Also, my work pays for my meals so don't feel obligated to pay or feel like I'm looking for a free meal or drinks.)And apparently because of where I live it is important to state that I'm not a big fan of the beach, unless it's some tropical island. Spending all day boating = No (I get seasick easy.)And Hiking = Yes; Camping = No (unless it's a cabin with running water, I've spent to many nights in flooded tents.) Meet for Coffee or appetizers and a drink somewhere where it's easy to converse without being drowned out by loud noises or maybe meet up and play some bocce or shoot some pool.

Well, the rebirth started when I made the conscious choice to improve my living situation, moved out, dropped 70 pounds in little more than a year (and counting), and found balance in my new life as a single mom of two great kids. On the upside, I've been told recently I'm not as big as I seem to think the label states, but I don't think I'm just 'a few pounds' more than ideal either. My height hides alot - you'll just have to gauge for your self :-)As for you, I don't want to pre-define my 'dream' guy with a few choice characteristics because everyone's unique and cliché’s are a dime a dozen (pun intended), but a girl’s gotta have her standards. You must value true honor, honesty, communication, and respect, have a sense of humor, be self-motivated and even tempered. I am looking for someone who carries his own (want to be a partner, not your mother). You need to be strong and I’m not speaking physically, although being able to open the jar after I’ve loosened it up for you is a plus! I’m referring to strength of self, supportive, confident - do what it takes in good times and bad to get things done and still be sensitive and thoughtful to the events around you. I'm interested in a man who may do things I don't currently do, because I'm happy to explore new adventures for myself, and for my kids in appropriate situations. Speaking of kids, and this is a deal-breaker, you have to be ok with kids. There's nothing more sexy about a guy who can be all the things I've mentioned and still be the thoughtful teacher, a fun yet disciplined father-figure, especially if the kids are not his own blood. Understand as a single mom this sentiment is important: win my kids genuinely, want my kids truthfully, be a role model for the kids, and you're halfway into my heart!
