I am a single mom. I love my children, my two puppies and my job. I love to laugh and would love to meet someone that can do that with me. I am painfully independant but not overbearing. I am lighthearted but not dumb, by any means. I am kind but not weak. I would consider myself intelligent, street smart, a pain in the ass some times (lol), thoughtful, caring, forgiving, crazy (but not insane). In general, you either love me or hate me....thankfully I have a large network of awesome friends so I would like to think it is more the former than the latter.I would like to meet someone that I could comfortably spend time with a grow to know at our own pace. I like just about everyone, except purely mean spirited people, know-it-alls, one-upers, liars, cheaters and the amazingly irriatating whiners.NEW SIDE NOTE ***Still being stood up....not liking this....could someone explain why??? One of the "whys" I plan on pondering....NEWER SIDE NOTE ***Why ***, text me or call me....ask me to go out or meet you and then change your mind 5 min later or not respond to last text with final arrangements???? Really???? THIS IS WHY THIS DOESN'T WORK!!!!! everyone here is so full of it or himself.....Newest side note ***this blows!!! If I wanted pen pals....I'd write an inmate in the state correctional facility. I want to meet a REAL PERSON! WHO IS WHO THEY SAY THEY ARE AND DONT *** me about what they want. If all your looking for is a piece. ...well I may not be your girl. You gotta at least do the dance... at little at least. A really fun girl that STILL DOES have a FEW OLD FASHION IDEAS. lolAMAZINGLY RECENT SIDE NOTE ***: OMG.. do not contact me if you are completely self-centered, take more time in the bathroom than I do, typically date woman YOU CONSIDER to be less attractive than yourself to make you appear better, talk about nothing other than all the women looking at you or your ex blowing up your phone begging to come backup to try to make me jeleous. The WORST offenders are the ones who shouldn't be that proud anyway...just saying......***ok.... she's back. Anything new I should see???? keeping my fingers crossed. ;***OMG.... MAYBE its me....lol... but I don't think so.....just wrong choice over and over. Help me break the pattern......***here I am AGAIN!!!! OMG... Just in time for the holidays!!!! Yeah me!!!! lol.... jk. it is what it is. I REFUSE to sacrafice QUALITY to just "have someone". It has occurred to me this week (hellish week) that it is true - IF YOU TREAT YOU MOTHER POORLY and if you are willing LIE TO YOUR OWN YOUNG CHILDREN to "get out" when all you ever are is OUT .... what the hell are you gonna do to me???? Am I crazy??? lol Isn't it amazing, and TRUE, the best lessons in life are the HARDEST learned? I try to spin it and take away a learning experience everyHope you enjoyed my newest entry... all wisdom comes at a price. I paid it and and now passing it along gentlemen... Don't be "that guy".     I'm not a girly girl but that happens when you're the only girl on both sides of the family. I'm looking for a cute geeky guy who likes sports and traveling. I am NOT on here for hookups.P.S. - Since the latest meetville update it seems to use the GPS in my tablet to show I'm local to whatever area I'm traveling in. I don't do booty calls, but with my job I can pretty much live anywhere near a major airport. I've lived in VA and on the IL/WI border before and I have a few other favorite cities I've entertained potentially moving to in the future because the city fits my style, not because I've met someone. So if you see I'm in town and are looking to meet and hang out with a cool chick for a drink or dinner paired with fun and intelligent conversation then feel free to chat me up, we never know. With my travel any relationship would be partial long distance no matter where I live. (Also, my work pays for my meals so don't feel obligated to pay or feel like I'm looking for a free meal or drinks.)And apparently because of where I live it is important to state that I'm not a big fan of the beach, unless it's some tropical island. Spending all day boating = No (I get seasick easy.)And Hiking = Yes; Camping = No (unless it's a cabin with running water, I've spent to many nights in flooded tents.) Meet for Coffee or appetizers and a drink somewhere where it's easy to converse without being drowned out by loud noises or maybe meet up and play some bocce or shoot some pool.
