Hi! So, ok, I've done this a few times during my single-ness, and I think I know how to ask for what type of guy I'd like to be with :) I am a very nice woman who has a lot to offer. No Nobel Peace prize or anything else as flashy... I'm more of a behind-the-scenes girl who loves to make those few people in her life feel special. I know what I like/want, but it could be said that I'm a people pleaser. As I've gracefully aged, (haha, ok, not really...kicking and screaming!) I think I've got a pretty good handle on things, and can balance my needs with yours ;}I'm strong-minded and independent, but not overbearing. Low- Companionship is an absolute MUST. I like a guy with an opinion about stuff, who's assertive, but not agressive. And guess what? I like that women and men are Different, with their own special roles in life :***A little old school, but with a modern twist is what I would call myself. Here are some specifics that are important to me in a man:1. I don't want to be attached to the end of your week; if you are out here online just goofing around, please keep moving.2. Please be true to your profile...at some point our real selves emerge anyways, so let's not waste each other's time ok?3. Looks are important to me, but also class and style...you need to care about your health to some degree :) If your fave thing to do is go to the gym tho, we'd probably not be the best match. If your fave thing to eat is fried pork rinds, that wouldn't work either! I'm a moderate person.4. It would be awesome if you are 5'10" or less; Sorry; I am a petite woman and it just makes sense :)5. I look young for my age, and it helps if you do too. 6. I don't hang out in bars, and tend to like a guy who enjoys spending time at home or doing other things. Smaller groups of friends is more my thing than big groups and parties. Happy hour a couple times a week and going out on occassion is a lot of fun, as well as dancing once in a while on a Saturday night. 7.Your profile must show me that you have a nice smile and know how to use it!!A couple more things about me ~ I'd love to have a food truck, or run a BnB of some sort, or cook for old people some day. Right now, I do the daily grind...I am responsible, but not stuffy. I have a house that I am buying with my own hard-earned money, and a car :) and 2 cats/one dog. Let's go out and enjoy fall....;-) I'm open minded, stress free, fun & intelligent....How about you? A few things I enjoy include shows/concerts, traveling, being outside & professional sports (esp NFL games), dining out with family & friends, having a social drink & intellectually stimulating conversation, movies and it's great to have a good laugh sometimes ...Usually anything that's daring/adventuresome will attract me & sometimes spontaneity is the spice of life & hopping in the car for an unplanned road trip can be a blast ;-). Of course, attending the occasional formal event ... entertaining guests at the house would be nice. I really do like everything from pro sports & So let's have some fun. OK!. Ideally we would both be educated, professional, love new cultures and other countries. l'm always excited about trying a variety of foods (some of my favorites are king crab legs, grilled ribeye steaks, blackened scallops and sushi) absolutely love eating especially after an active day ;-). Seasonal/holiday cooking...especially in the fall...smells and tastes great. Love it. What are your favorites? For whatever reason ethnic niches attract me. How about you? There's something about diversity in language, culture, food, surroundings that will always attract me. So if you're one to wander into these areas I'm sure we'll get along well. Being with someone who can live , laugh and enjoy the moment is ideal. After the show enjoy downtown. And, just so you know...I adore being treated, it's magical, but I'm also very capable of covering my own expenses.On a cold night it's fun to cuddle on the couch have a glass of wine or pop some popcorn and watch a good movie. Movies I enjoy are suspense thrillers, gangster ( American Gangster is one of my favorite movies), political scandals ( Like 'State of Play', "; I workout at Lifetime fitness usually 3 times a week. Mostly to stay in shape but It's nice to keep in touch with my friends there too.Music preference include classical rock, R&B, jazz, alternative, romance songs like " Let's go to the Park"- John Legend ; "Dancing in the Moonlight"- King Harvest, "Make you feel my Love ' - Adele. The chemistry has to be there...excitement, attraction, that smile of approval...I love a big hug, cuddling, & love when you take the time to do a little something special like lighting candles or surprise dinner ( of course a trip to Vietnam &; I like to surprise you. Because these things make me smile ... hopefully you too and keep the romance alive. Meeting for coffee or dinner would be a good start.
