I'm looking for someone to have a dating type of relationship with no serious long term plans at this point. I want to be completely honest so I don't waste anyone's time, including my own. I don't want to get married or live together or anything like that anytime soon, if ever. That's just too much to think about right now and focusing on that goal can sometimes make a relationship develop too quickly. But I would like a relationship to eventually develop into a boyfriend/girlfriend type thing. I guess because I prefer dating one guy at a time. I'm relatively new at dating again but serial dating is not my thing. Physical attraction and affection are important to me for this kind of relationship to work. I know this is important to most of us so to be upfront and honest I am slightly over 5'3" and weigh ***lbs.I love to joke around and find humor to be an attractive quality in a man. I'm also very straightforward and direct and I say what's on my mind. I value honesty and openness in a relationship. And on that note, let me say that I am not one that needs to be wined and dined. Having a good time can just be sitting around drinking a beer (or coke) and shooting the breeze with friends. I traveled when I was younger (went into the Air Force after high school) and I was able to do a lot of different things. I enjoyed it and would love to do more traveling but spending time with other people is what I value the most.-shirt and ordering pizza.I love all animals and have cats right now. I like doing a lot of different things as I'm pretty easygoing. I also love to try new things (whether they're good for me or not) and I love to be outside for any reason. Any time that I spend with my friends is fun no matter what we're doing, like I mentioned above. I don't have any real hobbies right now but I do enjoy working out with weights and machines at the gym about ***times a week. I don't have that 20 year old body but I'm trying to get it as close as possible. I absolutely love the beach and the ocean in general. The mountains are great too and I love hiking through the woods, but the beach/ocean is the place that calls me.Oh yeah, I don't have children, but I love kids, so if you have children it's no problem for me.- oops, did I say that out loud!). I think drinks or coffee with someone else would be nice too.

Life is a gift. It will always be my desire to love and be loved. Like most singles , the time moved from being admired by those I had no affection for, to pursuing with great earnest who I wanted - only to find that in the end it wasn't the match/compatibility that was good for both of us. Most of all I love this idea of feasting on your life, from the wonderful moments (the love letter) to the revealing moments (the photographs) to the painful moments (the desperate notes). Let's all feast today, even if that feast takes place while we're buying coffee filters or "making" a premade rotisserie chicken for dinner. Reflection happens everywhere—even in the aisle of the supermarket. When your ready come and get it.......:) . Something casual, just a coffee , keep it simple. Love to go out to see a movie, hang out with friends and family. A nice evening out for dinner would be nice.

Ok. . time for an update! ***Have been on here a little while, and have had some meetville encounters. . . I admit some have been more like Shark encounters, you know, the kind where you just need to steel your nerves, be very still, and hope it swims away quickly leaving your hide intact!! lol Not all have been bad, and I have met some very nice guys that have remained my friends. . .but still haven't met "the one"!I guess, from what is becoming a common complaint on here from you guys, that you are running into a lot of old pics, liars about body type, etc. . . Well, allow me to say, in all HONESTY and to hopefully ease your mind. . my pics are not old, and I'm ht/wt proportionate. . although most every woman will tell you they need to lose a few pounds, but I am certainly not a BBW! I can tell you my pants size, if it makes you feel better too! lolIt's frustrating, to say the least, when you reach out and contact someone, and you hear nothing in return. I for one, would much rather get a quick "not interested", than to wait and wonder. . I mean we are all adults on here right? All for the same reason, to find someone we can connect with. I realize one persons beauty is another persons beast. . and we are all, for the most part, visual beings! But COME ON!! If I *** be man enough to send a reply. .even if its "no thanks". . .and I promise to do the same!! Ok. . enough with the soap box. . .stepping down now!! lolI'm a happy, down to earth, strong, independent, self sufficient, loving, woman! Whew . that was a mouthful!! I am not broken...looking for someone to fix me, just missing the connection with a partner...nor am I dependent on anyone for my happiness or well being. I would like to find someone that I can "click" with, on every level. Not a clone, that would be boring, but someone to compliment my personality, and I his. . not control it or try to change it! I have a great sense of humor and would prefer to laugh my way through the rest of my life! "Strong" doesn't mean hard or cold either. I am a very warm, giving, loving person, who would do anything in my power to help those I care about (and even some I don't!). My family and friends are very important to me, and although my boys are grown and have their own lives, it doesn't stop me from still being. . . a Mom! I can't say, at my age, that there hasn't been baggage, I'm sure we have all had some . . but I left mine at the airport...with no return address on it and filed no claim form!!! I now live the most drama free life I can manage!! That's not to say there is and never will be any, I think that is kind of unrealistic, but I seriously believe its how you handle and react to it that makes the difference. I don't let it control or consume me! Find the solution, deal with it, and move on. . . then you can look back at it and laugh. . and there is no better medicine than that!Very "hands on" affectionate, and intimacy, at some point, is important to me. I'm comfortable in most any situation. . . dressed up or dressed down! Although I must admit I am more often found in the "dressed down" mode! Love a BBQ with bonfire at home, or a night out dancing with friends. I like all kinds of music, however, my main venues are Country and Classic Rock. I love the outdoors.. . whether its simple yard work, or the wind in my hair on a motorcycle, boat, or a horse and almost everything in between! If its outdoors, I'm usually up for it!! Love the water and beaches (may have been a fish in a former life!! lol). . or . . Have always liked camping, but at this stage, I don't think I could handle sleeping on the ground anymore. . would have to be more along the lines of an RV. . or Hotel! lol I like most sports, but my favorite is Hockey. I have my favorite teams that I've been true to my whole life. . .but don't begrudge anyone their mistake in rooting for others. . LOL!!!At this point in my life, I would like someone beside me to share in all life has to offer. . . good, bad or ugly!P.S. Just so you know, I work a lot and I'm trying to find balance. You know what they say. . "All work and no play. . "I would hate to know my headstone reads only "Beloved and Missed. . . Employee"!! Anyone think they can help me out with this?? LOLAnything else I may have forgotten. . . just ask. . .No secrets here, and nothing to hide!! BTW. . . I'm not very photogenic, never have been . . .so I tend to try to stay out of pics. . . everyone takes them while I am not paying attention, otherwise they wouldn't get them at all!!! I have, however, been told many times that I look much better in person, than my pics. . . don't know if that helps at all or not. . . just sayin!! Not a vanity thing. . just facts! The first is actually more of an encounter. . with the First Date to be determined! So. .I'm thinking maybe a picnic. . or rather a brown bag lunch . . . at the picnic table . . . behind the police station. . .right by the surveillance camera!! LOL Just kidding!! I really meant in the lobby!! lol
