I’m excited and optimistic about meeting new people. I’m sincere and honest. I’m shy but I’m known for telling it like it is. Sometimes that gets me in trouble! I love to laugh and enjoy spending time with friends. I love the beach and warm weather. (On hot summer nights I miss my Jeep) Going out is fun, but staying in can be just as fun. My career is demanding and high profile, but I’m very down to earth and know what matters in life. I wear suits all day but prefer to be wearing my vans. My passion is Dressage and competing (please don’t let this scare you!!! I teach horseback riding on the weekends, and love to see the happiness in my students faces when they reach a goal, learn something new, or overcome a fear. I’m looking for someone who loves to laugh and have fun. You have to love animals. I love tattoos and piercings. If you don't have any, its not a deal breaker. Please be strong and confident, but not arrogant. Some other things about me:I'm not looking for a hookup or a friend with benefits. If that's what you want, we shouldn't date. My horses are a huge part of my life. I'm sorry but this is never going to change. Having a horse is like having a child. They can't take care of themselves and as a result they require a lot of human interaction. If my horses are going to be a problem for you, we shouldn't date. Height is important to me. Sorry, but I am 6 feet tall and I don't want to be 8 inches taller then someone when I wear heels. Surprise me!

I am into the show cat circuit. I have two pedigreed Persian cats that I show regularly.I like rock n roll music...I've been listening to a lot of Korn lately...I have some tattoos...last weekend I got a new one. It's a black kitty cat on my neck, behind my right ear...I really want someone I can talk to about everything. I need my man to also be my best friend. Also, I feel like I should be upfront about my policy on kids: I have two, but they are 18 and 22. I do not wish to get involved with a man who is a single dad or has kids under 16.Here are some positives to dating me (I think):I'm old enough to know who I really am. I won't be changing on you down the line...I also understand men in my age group are who they are by this time too. In other words, we need to like each other for who we are.I've learned to let the little things go. I mean that, in the grand scheme of things, so much little crap that people fight about doesn't even matter.I'm smart. I keep up to date with what's going on in the world. I watch the news, I research things I want to know about. I'm a good listener and a good conversationalist.I know that it's important in a relationship to treat the other person well. I'm very thoughtful and I always consider my partner's feelings. I would like to have an event planned, nothing big but an activity we can do while getting to know each other and talk. Dinner is always a good, safe first date. NOT A MOVIE-- I wanna talk and get to know you!

Know what you want, and go out and get it.I'm a firm believer that it's the little things that make up the true fabric of who we are. Everybody can pull it together for a grand gesture, but it's how you are on your off-times that show your true nature. I would describe myself as an adventurous and outgoing person, but I also have a shy observant side. I am happy with who I am. I'm not looking for somebody to complete me, but rather to complement my life. I love my job, my family, and my friends, and would love to spend time with somebody who is equally happy in their life. I will not settle and I don't think anybody should. Life is too short to be miserable. I am me, and you are you, that will always be true, and it's great to spend time with people who appreciate that. I have been told that I am very funny and have a great sense of humor. One of my favorite things in life is to giggle until I snort. Ya, it'll happen. A few key things I look for in a partner:- You're fit and have an athletic build but you don't live at the gym- You're happy with who you are as a person- You are confident in yourself but are not arrogant- You have a great sense of humor but know when to be serious - You're between ***if you're any older I'd hope you look hot for your age***You will say more to me than just "hi" or "how are you finding this site". If all you're going to say is "hi" don't expect a response. - You're cheeky and witty and can hold your own in a great conversation - You're confident in yourself but are not arrogant - You're not allergic to cats - If you're somebody who "want kids" please know that I am leaning more to the side of "not for me" on the "undecided/open". If you have kids I'm cool with that.- Not looking for a commuting relationship - if you have no photo, or the only ones are from super far away (aka - can't see you), then don't expect a response. Or if there are 5 people in the photo, a great idea is to note which one you are! I have clear photos of me, I expect the same of you. Some food for thought:There's a reason on a flight they tell you that in the event of an issue to put on your own oxygen mask first before helping others. You won't be very helpful to anyone if you can't breathe. I follow this theory in my own life. If you're somebody who thinks this is selfish, then we will NOT be a match. If you happen to still be reading (bonus points), then note that while my profile says "date but nothing serious", if the right person were to walk into my life that could be a different story. At the end of the day, a relationship for me is about "wanting" one vs "needing" one. Good luck out there! casual drinks and conversation.
