As a true "foodie" it is no surprise that my work has taken me to remote villages where I cook on 3 stone fires with local women in mud huts. My repertoire of ethnic recipes is exotic, unique and vast. There's a lot of spice in my life. The cultural aspects surrounding food fascinate me, and although I've done mass food distribution during famine, I always find a ritual. I have recently started an ethnic catering company in Marin to bring the grassroots recipes I've learned in the land of scarcity to the land of abundance.
