I've relocated back to my homestate after grad school and a 12 year hiatus and would like to meet some new people in the area.. lots can change in a dozen years, right? . Perhaps you want to show me around your favorite places or take me with you on an adventure.. I'm always game for exploring or having an intellectual conversation, or just having a few drinks and a bunch of laughs. I don't have time or interest in hitting the bar scene on a regular basis, but I do enjoy the opportunity to get out and scope out new venues for good food, drink and entertainment.I'm a strong independent woman who tends to scare guys who aren't self-confident off, but I'm really a passionate and sensitive person who wants meaningful relationships just like everyone else. I'm totally down to earth, confident in myself and enjoy art and music as a way of life. I am creative, educated, inspired by nature and know how to have a good time. I would love to find someone who I could share adventures and experiences with, both good and bad. Life is indeed too short to go it alone. However, I would rather do my own thing than put up with someone else's bullshit. Friends and family are very important to me; I am happy to say that there is no drama to report here!. I really enjoy cooking gourmet meals and I would love to have someone to share them with. I like a self-confident, intelligent man who knows who he is and doesn't need me to 'make him happy' but someone who enjoys me for who I am and also loves to do his own thing. Show me a great hiking spot or share your passions and I'll share mine. I am very attracted to hard working men who are not afraid to get dirty but can clean up nicely when necessary! Spending lots of time in my studio makes me happy! I'm a bit of a romantic too. Sunset strolls on the beach, candlelight dinners, picnics and adventurous getaways, or a night of snuggling with a good movie are my idea of a fun time. I don't watch TV, and don't care to; Netflix is a decent compromise.. soaking in hotsprings under the moonlight.. discovering beauty in silence and laughing until it hurts.I enjoy a wide variety of music and enjoy going to see shows or just checking out what people have on their ipod or in their album collection.. I love a good and funky bassline and clever lyrics. Lately I've been listening to lots of bluegrass. Always open to listening to new music. I am always happy to meet positive an intelligent folks no matter where I live. I'm really looking forward to establishing gardens again and getting back to my roots. Positivity can get a person everywhere in life. And a strong sense of humor somehow helps us get through all the crazy sh*t that is going on in this world. I'm pretty liberal.. so please don't try to start a political argument with me. Drop me a line if you think we have similar interests.     Hey there, thanks for stopping by and checking out my page! I like it down here. I love the beaches, and though it gets unbearably hot sometimes, I don't miss having to shovel snow. Now that I'm back in PC, I'm within 5 minutes of most of my family, and being so close to them means a lot to me.I've been working for the same company for almost 13 years, and I couldn't work for a better company. I love being surrounded by different people and having the opportunity to make their experience a little bit better. My career means a lot to me, and I've worked hard to get where I am. As for my free time, I'm pretty much up for anything as long as I'm with good company. I figure if you're with the right people, you can make it a fun time no matter what. I like going out, but enjoy staying in and watching a movie or playing a game too. I don't go out to bars or clubs much anymore, and I'm not a big drinker, but I'll go with some friends occasionally, mainly to socialize. I like bowling, and shooting pool. I really enjoy going to Busch Gardens also. I love roller coasters! I like going for bike rides, especially when I have someone else to enjoy it with. I also watch UFC when I can catch the fights. I work out once or twice a week and I enjoy that. I just started to play a little tennis too, and that's been fun. I'm pretty easy to please. I try to avoid drama, and I hate when people play games. There's a million other things I could say, but that takes the fun out of meeting up and getting to know one another!
