About Me

Where to start? I recently finished university and I'm currently working as a vet assistant, which I have been enjoying immensely, but that does not mean that I do not have any other goals or aspirations in life. I'm pretty driven and not afraid of hard work, which means I can come across as serious at times. But the more you get to know me, you will find that I'm not that serious at all (It's the curse of my cultural background). My humor is pretty dry and apparently gets increasingly sarcastic with increasing alcohol intake (that is at least what it seems like from my unbiased point of view). I'm not your typical chick that only cares about shopping, manicures and celebrities. I much rather plant some trees or try rock climbing than getting my nails done and talk about boys... I love being active outside, taking in all the beautiful sights nature has to offer, which means that I love traveling and learning about other cultures and ecosystems (there I said it- In case you haven't noticed, unfortunately, I'm a bit of biology nerd). When I can't travel far away, I enjoy horseback riding and hiking in the country. I'm an open and tolerant person and I expect the same from others.I'm looking for someone who is outdoorsy, adventurous and down to earth. I'm equally attracted to someone's brain and physical appearance. So, if you can hold an intellectual conversation without being totally obnoxious, you will definitely gain big bonus points. I have found in the past that having things in common is key for me (and I'm not talking about the CD collection).My hopes of finding someone through this silly online dating thing are low, but if you are someone who is genuinely looking for someone real, I'm your gal!     About me... I have a daughter that my whole world revolves around. I'm a little bit of a workaholic. My job and my career are very important to me. I'm independent to a fault, and I take my ability to take care of myself and my child very seriously. But that doesn't mean I'm a Debbie downer all the time. My second language is sarcasm and I'm completely fluent in snark. Music is right up there with breathing for me. It's necessary for me to function. I can play just about anything with strings but my *** choice is the guitar. My happy place is my back porch with my guitar. I swear it seems like everything comes together and all is right with the world while I'm out there jamming away. I love to read, and Libraries make me genuinely happy. I've had an e-reader for years now, but its just not the same. There's something wonderful about flipping paper pages, and closing the cover of a book when you're done that an e-reader just can't match. I'd hands down rather walk out of a library with an armful of books than walk out of any store with an armful of shopping bags. I'm not gonna lie and say that I'm not complicated. I am female after all. So saying I don't have my "moments" would make me a liar. *haha* But I am honest (obviously) ,pretty straight forward, and wonderfully quirky. Or atleast I would like to think so. I don't care where, as long as its casual with great conversation and lots of laughs.

    Hi there,I'm on meetville to meet some nice guys and maybe find someone to start a good relationship with. I'm 26 and hang out with the same group of people most of the time so meeting new people is a little bit of a challenge. But hey, let's try it out and see where it goes. I'm a teacher and I absolutely love my job. I wouldn't want to do anything else with my life. I love being around kids, they bring new and funny stories everyday! I also coach. I coach highschool basketball (guys and girls) and rep softball (girls). It takes up a lot of my time, but the rewards of seeing my players acheive their personal and team goals is so worth it.
