Woman. 44 years old. Zodiac sign: Virgo.
Looking for: man. In age: 41-51
I am a 44 year old mother of two girls ages 11 and 7. I am 5' 2", and ***ish) pounds with blonde curly hair and blue eyes. I'm a slightly shy, old-fashioned, simple, down to earth, easy going, no nonsense, do-it-yourself kind of gal. To start out, I'm looking for a man that can carry on a decent conversation. The mental connection is very important to me. I'm a talker (once I'm comfortable) so I prefer to be with someone that can hold up their end. I have many interests and I'm always open to learning something new to improve myself in any way I can. The more you know - the more you grow! Relationships are stronger and last much longer when they are friendship based. Friends with a sincere respect for one another as opposed to two people who's dating choices are based solely on physical attraction. I'm hoping to settle into something long term but if we can't be friends then nothing else will work out for us either. I was married for 11 years of a 13 year relationship and had a 6 year relationship soon after that one ended. I've been single for over 5 years. I am interested in meeting a patient, kind, decent, and trustworthy person with morals and integrity. I have my kids ***. They have no paternal contact whatsoever so I don't get much time away from them but I'm still not willing to leave them with a sitter for just anybody. There has to be some sort of CONNECTION, ATTRACTION, or COMPATIBILITY for me to meet anyone face to face. I do know what I'm NOT looking for. I'm okay with being single for as long as it takes but the boredom, monotony, and loneliness does tend to overwhelm me at times. Unfortunately, this is my only way of meeting people for now since I don't get out much and I'm not into the bar/night club scene. I'm not a big drinker and dislike crowds and loud noise.Due to personal preference and the fact that I'm not a heavy person myself, I am only attracted to men that have an average, athletic, or thin build. Attraction is a natural thing that we cannot change or control to be politically correct. I'm very sorry if this offends anyone. There are things about me that others may not find attractive as well but I do, at least, try to take care of my body the best I can and prefer a man that does the same. I expect no more of others than I expect of myself. I think that is fair. So if you do not at least try follow a healthy lifestyle I probably will not be interested.Everyone has their own ideals and admire different qualities in different people. Each person I meet brings out a different side of my personality. I can adjust myself to almost any level. None of us see ourselves in the same way as others see us. It takes the right person to bring out the REAL me. But you will form your own opinion regardless of what I type here. Soooo ... I'll just go ahead and lay it all out for you. ;)*I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. Had it since age 16 and YES .. it IS visible. I am honest and brave enough to put that out there for you to scrutinize. Everybody has a flaw of some sort but since mine just happens to be a noticeable part of my appearance, I feel that I should let it be known so that you can decide if it's something you can accept. I have had both knees replaced already (I walk fine), a forefoot reconstruction that left me with with a metal plate, screws, and fused toes. I also have some other visible arthritic damage here and there. I do eat healthy, take good care of myself, and truly believe that I'm in better shape than most women my age otherwise. I am NOT looking for somebody to feel sorry for me or take care of me. I take good care of myself and I never ask for help. I'm extremely stubborn and still have a sense of pride that overrides pain. ;) You'll either accept it or you won't. I also might as well mention that I had to give up driving due to the *** my knee replacements (at least temporarily). I don't want to kill anyone on the road (or the sidewalks :p). I had to leave my bank job to take care of some of my medical issues. I have been seeking work in an office type setting ever since but I am basically on medical/disability for now until a non-discriminatory person decides to hire me. If that spooks you .... well sorry. I'm just trying to stay mobile and do whatever needs to be done for myself as well as my kids. I've had 14 surgeries so far and will still need plenty more in the near future (next one in April ***. I make no excuses for myself, my abilities, or my disabilities ... I always do what I can. My life isn't easy but it does go on either way - with or without you. :)* Chemistry is always a factor and the written word can be interpreted any way the reader so chooses to interpret it. So a face to face meeting at some point will make or break it. Let's face it ... you just don't know a person until you've looked into their eyes, watched their body language, facial expressions, and see how they treat and/or react to others around them, as well as how others treat/react to them. It tells you so much more than simple e-mails and phone calls where words can be easily misunderstood. To be honest ... I feel uncomfortable eating on a first date. Too nervous. Maybe just appetizers and a drink at the very most. Grabbing a coffee for a quick meet and greet is good too. That way it stays comfortable in case there is no mutual spark. Please have a pic to share. You can see me ... let me see you too. :)

Woman. 43 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.
Looking for: man. In age: 40-50
I am the mother of three grown children and a grandmother of two beautiful grandchildren. I raised my children pretty much by myself. I have a good job that I truely enjoy. I love to do new things and meet new people. I enjoy sporting events, movies, dinner (in or out) but mainly out...lol, cookouts, beach, pool, live music, comedy, dancing, riding motorcycles and anything really with my close friends and/or family. I really can't refuse a dare but only bet if I know I will win. I try to enjoy whatever it is I am doing and rarely have a miserable time doing anything. Life is to short to be miserable or un happy. Would love to find someone to try to enjoy everything life has to offer as I begin this new chapter of the rest of my life. I love to joke around and try to be funny...sometimes not as funny as I may think. Just love doing things...any type of things really. Haven't really dated in quiet some time, so not really sure what to say here. I guess for a first date it should be a public place so no one feels uncomfortable. Maybe dinner and drinks to talk and get to start learning about each other. And hopefully things click and there would be another date and could plan something together.

I work from home in the Business Travel Industry, preparing reports and PowerPoint presentations for a Global Travel Company.. I'm passionate about the Ocean and love to travel when I can!. Church is important to me and have a 23 yr old daughter that lives on her own and a 7 yr old son that was my "suprise" in life.He makes me laugh everyday and is my priority. Currently going through the divorce process and moving into an apartment and starting over... I'm close to them all and we live within 15 min of each other and amazing parents! My Daddy set a high standared for me and will take it a bit slower this time as I waited until i was 36 to get married and want to make sure I found the right person that did not turn out to be... Until then, looking for friends that enjoy sports, travel country music, and of course someone that would understand that my sweet "little" man is number 1 in my life. Wondering if anyone is a real man in this world anymore? I'm optimistic and love to laugh and cook nice meals. That's it for now! I love to be treated to dinner and a movie!! I'm pretty simple.. Like the outdoors, parks, watching football and baseball and COUNTRY music!!!!! I'm a lady so if you are seeking one of "those girls".. You are in the wrong place with me...
