I love the water and walk along the bay a few times a week. I also go to the Caribbean at least once a year! So if you don't find me on the beach, playing tennis, trying new recipes then I may be curled up on the couch with my dog reading some sort of cookbook or playing on the computer. I am also just now (as of April ***trying to YOLO board! So far I have gone out a few times and loved it!Looking for a funny, honest male that also enjoys traveling and trying new things. In addition, it would be a bonus if he is very outgoing and confident without being****, and can appreciate my sarcastic sense of humor. I am looking to get off the couch and meet in person....not into talking on the phone or texting before meeting...This should be simple..Pick a time and place and lets meet up, if no sparks fly then we met a new friend:) Being new to the area I would love to meet friends as well as someone special to date!Anyway, there are alot of people on here and we are all in different phases in our lives..I am just hoping to meet someone that understands where I am and is possibly looking for the same in a partner. Meeting for coffee has been done to death, and quite frankly, is boring as hell(I actually just hate coffee!). I like meeting for a happy hour, which can lead right to a dinner if things are going well. If things are not as they seem, well atleast beer will help me tolerate what was not advertised correctly. (J/K..or am I..come on we have all been there!?)PS..if you have to smoke around me, we are not a good match....also believe it or not, even with the above listed here I still get asked out for coffee dates!...or if this is a looks only game? LOL

And I like to laugh. I live a pretty quiet life lately. I've had lots of adventures. Travelled a little. Lived in the bush for a long time. And now life has come full circle for me. I can be a bit of a beach bum. A reading and swimming type of beach bum, if there are types. Swimming is my favourite thing to do. And lying on sand just feels good. I like to be active, though, too. Finding balance is important. I enjoy LONG walks, riding my bike, shooting hoops, painting.....whatever. I'm close with my family and I'm thankful for it. I would love to find someone who is cool. :) Cool as I see cool. Someone who I could sit and just talk and laugh with for hours doing nothing. I prefer comfortable, quiet (or sometimes loud) nights at home. But I'm an open, spontaneous kind of person. A night out salsa dancing? Yes! It's ok. I don't know how, either ;)
