Hi there, welcome to my profile!Here is my attempt to describe myself without boring you to death. In random order:I am adventurous... Love my life in the States, even if I realized (quickly) that it is not like in the movies. I have lived in 5 States and I have picked NY to settle.I have never married and don't have children, not because I do not like men or children, but because I was never in the right place at the right time with the right attitude :-)I am a geek with a sense of humor.I am responsible and independent.Some would say I am sweet, others quirky. Most love me the way I am. Most being my friends and family, wherever they may be.Mom claims I look better in person than in pictures, and that is a good thing...but mom never tried internet dating!Nephews totally dig having a doting aunt that spoils them and listens to them as if they are adults. Points for the American Aunt!I love cooking, with mixed results. However, I haven't poisoned anyone yet.My "garden" is a flower bed that has been reclassified, but I already have eaten 3!!! tomatoes from it.I like the outdoors but I equally enjoy museums. Totally in love with tennis, even if I cannot play to save my life.Cannot stand reality TV.Read Italian books to keep the language current. My bicycle needs tuning and has been sitting in the basement waiting for some love.I exercise regularly (if I am not traveling) and I used to kick ***...now I get my *** kicked by a bunch of older ladies at the gym.I travel a lot for work and I no longer love flying, but I will, if it takes me to a fun place.I *** may not know exactly what I want, but I definitely know what I do not want!I look for a man that is confident in who he is, solid and reliable. I want to have fun and I want someone to come back to. Chemistry, passion, laugh, irony, discussions, challenges, and anything that make life full of flavor. Being a realist, I do not expect perfection. Actually perfection can be awesome boring. How about perfect imperfection? I like simple things. Dinner at a nice restaurant, drinks, coffee...a quiet place where we can get to know each other and see if we click.

    At this point in my life I think I am pretty comfortable with who I am and what I want, but I can also be an awkward dork sometimes. I live on an incredibly beautiful farm and get to do what I want for a job. I'm independent but I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I've traveled a lot and used to be a professional chef but I still enjoy a good donut. Most of my clothes have some hay in the pockets, but I clean up pretty well when i get the chance. I love going to a show at Moe's or a dance party at a friend's house. I've got a freezer full of homegrown meat for spontaneous BBQs as well.     I have a great sense of humor, although I can't tell a joke. I love to travel and recently returned from an amazing vacation in Croatia.; I am taking myself there again in a few months. Where to next? Tahiti? the possibilities are endless!! It's football season and I love football as in that's what I will be doing over the next few months on Sundays. Big fan of the NFL Red Zone channel. :-) I am a Charger fan and I have great hopes for the this coach. Sometimes I am quite the optimist!! I do go to Padre games, because baseball is better in person. I enjoy lounging on the beach as much as I like hiking up a mountain, or a very, very small hill. I quite enjoy camping, though I confess that I haven't been in awhile, but would like to go again. Once did a fantastic backpack to Havasupai over a long weekend. Truly a great trip, but did hang up my back pack after that and just plan to stick to car camping. :-... I've just discovered how smooth a good whiskey can taste. Every been to Seven Grand? Great place! I also enjoy all the Craft Breweries around town as I am always looking for that perfect beer! I haven't quite found it yet, though many came close. I am quite persistent, so am still looking. ;- I have a crazy, exciting job that I would love to tell you about. There is my lemur friend in Madagascar to the truck stop in Togo, where I had sugar cane for the first time. The man I am searching for is sexy, confident, with a wicked sense of humor, likes to travel and very importantly, a great kisser. I find intelligence very sexy. My ideal man would be intelligent, humorous, a conversationalist, friendly and be open to adventure and trying new things. Must like football and baseball.
