Woman. 45 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.
Looking for: man. In age: 42-52
I'm a young, fun 45 year old who loves spending time with friends...cooking for them, wine tasting, attending sporting events. I golf when I can, however my game needs work. I like to stay active but enjoy downtime too...reading, movies, hanging by the fire pit. I'm open to trying new things, I don't mind getting dirty..revamped my back yard this summer, even planted an apple tree! I haven't been camping in a long time..would love to go..but the opportuninty hasn't presented itself. The most important thing to me in any relationship is communication. Having meaningful, intellectual conversations is crucial. I'm independant, happy with my life but often feel something's missing. I don't believe we're meant to be alone. I value honesty, respect, and loyalty. Life is so incredibly short I want to enjoy it with someone healthy and grounded, someone with the ability to laugh at the little things, himself, and me. One of many favorite quotes: "Destiny is no matter of chance. It is a matter of choice."

Woman. 41 years old. Zodiac sign: Leo.
Looking for: man. In age: 38-48
I like to get out and enjoy the outdoors in all seasons. The end of summer sees me packing away my camping gear and hiking shoes and pulling out my skis. I'm a true camper - comfortable in a tent but willing to upgrade to a vehicle or RV. As winter approaches I look forward to hitting the slopes of Sun Peaks, Whistler or the local mountains. I used to be a ski *** my 20s and still love to ski. I've learned a lot about myself in the last few years and I know who I am...divorce after 5 years of marriage will do that for a person. I'm starting a new chapter in my life and looking for someone to share it with who shares my interests and values.I'm not interested in having children of my own. I love kids...don't get me wrong. If you have kids...that's okay.I'm looking for a man who knows who he is. He's got a good job and he knows what he wants in life. He looks after himself, he has common sense, he is practical, playful, and has a great sense of humour as I love to laugh. I'm not looking to be looked after. I'm financially independent and have worked hard to get here.I'm looking for a partner in crime and a partner in life. Partners have trust and are able to give each other the freedom to pursue their own interests. Partners also love spending time together and enjoy many of the same activities. My friends would describe me as warm, fun, happy go lucky, honest, loyal, hard-working and goal oriented. Let’s not message back and forth too much, life is short, let’s meet in person, see if there’s chemistry and go from there. A simple tea, coffee, or beverage is a good idea for an initial meet up....and take it from there. :)

Woman. 40 years old. Zodiac sign: Aquarius.
Looking for: man. In age: 37-47
I'm easygoing and look for the best in people, but I'm nobody's fool. I am writing young adult novels (teens) and my background is in journalism, politics and running youth programs as a social worker. A do-gooder with a practical side, I don't take myself too seriously. I enjoy running on the beach or hiking every day (if possible).Change is my friend, and I love shaking up the routine when it gets stale.-to-5 job to consult and write. Oh yeah, I’m a stickler for grammar and punctuation (unless I really like you?) and am liberal with my use of commas:)I used to plan my vacations so I could see everything but now I like to go with the flow. Last year I visited a writing retreat in a tiny village in the south of France with only 50 people. I can small talk with the best of them, but I'm turned on by deeper conversation. I love eating exotic foods: Indian, Japanese, Thai, French, even vegetarian:), but I'll always have a soft spot for my Mom's Chicken Florentine. I love dessert and will gladly skip dinner for it. Ice cream, cake and brownies are faves. My taste in music runs from classic rock to pop to movie soundtracks to new age. Like goofy movies, guy comedies, dramas and independent films mostly (anything except horror).I consider myself spiritual and gave up Catholicism long ago. (Though does one ever really escape?!)I'd love to hike, run, chow down on good eats, go to a movie, concert, basketball or baseball game with you – or just veg out and eat Ben and Jerry’s. I'm game to try anything once as long it doesn't land me in jail. Although that would be a good thing to write about…! I'd love to meet for coffee/tea and get to know each other a bit. I'm not a big phone or *** -prefer to meet face-to-face for a brief chat. Then a hike or a walk or some other activity. A movie or concert. A few hours at the beach. Farmer's markets. With the right person, anything is fun:)
