I've been divorced for 9 years and my children are in their teens- and I have just begun having fun for myself.I love going to movies - there's nothing like seeing a movie in a theatre- but it's also fun to catch other flicks on DVD or Netflix at home.I like going out to have drinks where I can talk and listen to music-im more of a tiki bar kind of person or a hole in the wall place where different aged people hang out.I like to hang out on the beach on weekends when I have time and just relax.I used to be a flight attendant in my 20's and have a burning desire to travel which has been stifled due to responsibilities etc- So I haven't been able to fly to many places since I've had kids but I have discovered the joy of road trips- I've been to 46 out of 50 states with my kids over the summer months and so I would like to find someone who enjoys going on adventures like that.I'm not materialistic and impressed by what type of car you drive or how big your paycheck is. In fact, if your car is fancy ill probably only notice the color of it. Even though I'm a gringa- fluent in Spanish- in fact I was the bilingual translator on international flights when I used to be a flight attendant .
