Hi there - I'm glad you took the time to read this..... I would describe myself as a happy camper! I wake up in the mornings happy especially after I reach for a diet dew....my bad habit....LOL I try to make work fun for all of those around me....I have great friends and love hanging with them after work....they are my support group!I love to do home projects or should I say I dream up the ideas, I just need a man to help me get them done! ha haI have a fun, loving and honest personality and I smile a lot.....makes people think you are up to something....LOLI have one son who will be a senior in high school this year.....which means I will have the empty nest syndrome this time next year when he goes off to college....ugh! He is more than I could of ever asked for in a son.....he gets good grades, he's funny, he has a job.....yeah! And he stops long enough to give me a hug when he sees I need it....I come from a family of 5 kids........I was right in the middle too.....I used to be a tough gal but somewhere along the line of life, I softened and now I prefer my lip gloss.....ha! :) I have lost both my parents and a younger brother....so I truly know that life is too short.....I want to meet the man that will stick by me and hold my hand.....I haven't had the best of luck in the "relationship" department and I am ready to be dealt a good hand for a change....I might be wounded, but I'm not completely broken.....still a hopeless romantic believing there is a nice guy out there that will appreciate me for who I am..... Dinner, sitting in a cozy spot...moving on to a small bar or winery....so we can visit and get to know each other......going to movie on the first date is out.....I don't feel you get to know the person very well.....

I gardened professionally for years and am now 'retiring' as my Website / IT position has grown. I can't wait to work on my own garden again!I exercise everyday - walking, running, biking. I now prefer smaller arenas - more intimate.I have two children ***in high school and one in middle school. We have really good relationships. I am hoping to do it next year.I have wonderful friends who are my 'family' - I am close with my family but distance keeps us from being involved in everyday life together.Restarting my life after my 'unmarriage' 5 years ago has reduced the travel I would like to do. I long to see the mountains again, visit National Parks and see some spectacular cities. I hope to do more in the future. First dates can be awkward. Heck, so can the second and third! The walking loosens up some of the nervousness most of us experience. Stopping for a cup of coffee or a casual bite to eat is a nice addition. Or taking a picnic somewhere.....I do like to get dressed up and go out somewhere special. But, most of our everyday lives don't allow for a lot of that, so enjoying the simple things with someone is a good indication of how you would enjoy eachother on a normal basis - not 'holiday dating'.I do love a good hamburger! And good coffee. And desserts :)
