So, going on the ideas listed above, my hobbies would include trying to live a more active and healthy lifestyle, a good book and a drink from Starbucks, and general artsy/crafty things. I've also done a few 5k runs, and try to supplement my running with Crossfit workouts (I try my best!) I enjoy watching hockey games, and am a Habs fan, but to be completely honest I only follow hockey during the playoffs. I'm a recent B.Ed grad, and want to have a career working with youth. I'm not 100% sure if I want a classroom job or not, but I'm very passionate to help those kids in need. If I was a classroom teacher, I would love to teach biology! I chose my profession based on my desire to make a difference in the lives of youth, and learning (and school in general) has always been a passion of mine.; I'm a homebody that way. I grew up near the ocean and absolutely love the sound of the waves crashing on shore. I'm very apprehensive about trying new things, but I will always try. I'd love to try hiking, canoeing, and camping, but I have a genuine freak out issue with spiders and "creepy crawly" things; though, I do have a degree in Biology (from Dalhousie, which includes a minor in Psychology and History)I suppose I should talk about my taste in music - but I'm pretty easy going. I listen to the radio, but grew up with CCR and old school rap (like Snoop, when he was good) I follow a few TV shows, but have yet to see all the Star Wars movies (I know, I know) and most of my friends think I'm quirky (unique, right?) and funny. I'd like a first date to be something with a relaxed atmosphere where you can get to know someone. Dinner and a movie is too cliche and almost feels like too much pressure - and you can't chat during the movie. Or the putting edge or bowling, maybe even skating on the oval. Dinner might be okay - but who really wants to watch someone eat? Plus, I'm a picky eater. Or, drinks and board games!!!! Chess at Starbucks! Okay.. I'm a little nerdy.

Firstly I'm brand new to NC. Lets see how many of you actually read this.I can be very laid back and easy going Also depending on the situation Hard headed, head strong and can be very stubborn and feisty. My sense of humor is generally dry and sarcastic, but occasionally i can be more silly. I can be overly apologetic even if its not my fault, its just a bad habit. I can be paranoid if given a reason to be. I believe it is important to be able to accept someone for their faults and/or quirks, because if your going to be with someone that is something you will eventually come across and have to deal with. Which is why I am starting my page off with those things. I try my best to live an honest life, I don't live in a fancy house and you wont find me prancing around in Gucci and Prada with makeup caked on so thick that you wont even recognize me when i take it off or fake nails that can literally gut a person ( that's what knives are for (Smile)) I live within my means and i love jeans and a tank top or t shirt, but when i get dressed up i don't mess around. I have a strange addiction to hats. My family is important but they are spread out across the states, and i don't live with my parents i have room mates. I like to explore, but not alone and My biggest pet peeve is being lied to, if you have no intention of doing something don't say you will, a promise made should be a promise kept. Remember, "treat others the way you want to be treated" If, you have read this far and want to learn a little more down below are the things i enjoy doing along with some other fun facts.As for things i like to do; I enjoy the outdoors and nature, I find it calming and relaxing..... not going to lie im not a big fan of bugs though :) I graduated in ***with an A.A.S for Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management. I enjoy relaxing and hanging out inside, as well as keeping things interesting and spontaneous... I would consider myself an almost "jack of trades", or maybe i should say Jill of trades :D I can run and operate a front end loader, an articulating haul truck and a roller :) and i loved every minute of doing it. Also, I'm not really into the thug thing whether its you dress like a thug, are a thug or speak thug, i just find it unattractive. Please don't ask me what i will do if you kiss me because there are multiple factors and asking me is just awkward and generally speaking... the answer is I will either kiss back... or I wont, very self explanatory right??Once again lets see who read this.... feel free to tell me what if anything caught your attention.... I hate when people don't read profiles....... that's what its here for. I like Spontaneity so keeping it interesting is a big thing. Racing sounds fun, or even a little boat trip. The normal stuff like dining out and seeing a movie ( not only a movie by itself without another activity, the point is to try to get to know someone) aren't bad either. I'm a little old fashioned and prefer to meet in public, it doesnt matter where or what we do, walk in the park, grab coffee, meet for dessert. I know the thing these days is "lets hang out" and usually i get that line after 9 pm.....That is not my idea of a first date and makes me uncomfortable ( you could be a psycho and as far as you know i could be too) so lets just stick to meeting in public. thank you

Not much into Internet dating, just thought I would give this a try. I don't have much free time so I am looking for someone low maintenance to go to the bar with on a Friday night have a couple beers and not get outta control. I like to play pool, go to the beach, go to a car show, I'm pretty open minded and I don't mind last minute plans. I also don't mind relaxing on the couch watching some family guy and make cookies and sit there like a fat ass (I LOVE to cook and bake.) I actually enjoy that just as much as anything else. I like my independence and don't want to be suffocated but also want to know I'm being thought about sometimes if that makes any sense. Hmmmm, definitely dinner...I love to eat. And from there I don't mind wingin it. I like spontaneous trips to the beach at night to listen to the waves. Or a random trip up to the pool hall. Like I said I'm pretty open minded and will do almost anything and have fun!
