I am an endurance athlete who spends most of my time outdoors. I spend a lot of time training for triathlons so most of my free time is spent around other athletes. During training season, I get a lot of workouts done early in the morning so they don't overtake my days. During the winter, I am lazy. I am competitive but I am also compassionate and committed to my relationships. People tell me that I am a great listener.I am a professional who is stable in my career but I have considered a career change, recently, and stay open to possibilities. I have taken up writing again and have joined a Women's Blog to stay connected and accountable. I have traveled extensively and feel energized by new experiences. I am most alive in foreign countries and new situations. I can be spontaneous and open: a risk taker. I like cooking, art, photography, reading, long walks, and anything involving wind or water.Finally, and most importantly, I am a mother. My kids range in age from ***, diverse in their gifts and their needs. The oldest is away at College. Their dad lives in town and we co-parent. I am proud of the way that he and I work together to raise good people. A bike ride, long walk or a run. Maybe a workout at the gym. Coffee works if you prefer to sit still. I am slightly introverted until I get to know someone but definitely come out of my shell if I am riding or running. I don't sit still a whole lot but love a nice dinner and a good glass of wine (second date).
