Intelligent active guy who would probably pass your friends tests,,, I'm sure (maybe?). I truly enjoy being active in the world around me especially running, cycling and tennis but also intellectually (I will happily do museums) and spiritually. I'm spending more and more time learning the ins and out of being a decent cook and have been to a couple good travel destinations. Ask me. Hence the move to CO. ->,,,, ugggupdate: Looking to do some glass blowing *** build some cool art.... also buying a bunch of houses... so if you have finish carpentry skills I need your help!going to be more explicit in my desires... I've already made enough money to have taken 6 years off from my career (just went back to work 6 months ago),,, I expect now to work only 1 or 2 more years... so I'm looking for someone that can live simply and be willing to spend several months of the year doing doing big things...... that type of thing,,, you don't have to be "athletic" to do these things,,, and if you have kids, I'm fine with that, we could work out some sort of balance. In other words. I want to live like a European, and not just buy stuff.Steve

Well I guess the first thing I should let everyone know is that I am a single father of two great kids. My daughter is 6 and my son is 2. I know I know late start but I think I appreciate how precious they are more now that I'm older and more at ease with myself. I am very laid back and easy going. It takes quite a lot to get me upset about something. I'm a "glass half full" type of person. I love to joke around and make people laugh. I have a wide sense of humor ranging from very dry and sarcastic to corny and ridiculous. It really just depends on who I am with and the situation we are in. I am attending school at RCC in the evenings to finish a mechatronics degree. I have always earned a living with my hands and ready to do more behind a desk thinking. lol I'm looking for a person to spend time with and talk to. I want a best friend to start with and then see how it goes. I do not get a lot of nights to go out without the kids but do miss a nice dinner or a few games of pool just hanging out. Of course someone who likes children is a must and someone with children close to the ages of mine are a plus. I do not believe in lies and half truths! I can be brutally honest at times but usually know when to just passively let people know what I am thinking about something. Any questions just ask! I will be more than happy to talk about anything. :) Meet up at a tavern or nice restaraunt where we can talk, maybe have a drink, laugh, and get to know each other. I love just hanging out shooting the breeze.
