If your husband directs you to do something you are not comfortable with, remember that you must always obey God over men. “A wife of noble character is her husband’s crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones” (Proverbs 12:4). Being a noble woman means holding yourself up to the higher standard all Christians do. You should be striving to be more like Christ each day, not only because you are a Christian but also because you want to be the best version of yourself you can be for your husband and family. Do not fall short and give into Satan’s desires, for that only will bring your husband further away from Christ as well. God tells us that we are incredibly worthy to our family, and we should strive to live up to those expectations He places on us.
