I am eternally positive, even though at times it is hard and we all know it, actually I KNOW THAT very well. I am thankful for the small blessings.I am silly and funny almost on everything, but yes I do take my job and responsibilities very serious. I'm hoping to meet a kind person who loves to laugh and doesn't take life too seriously. I love to be active (despite serial clumsiness), ride my bike, swim, run, hike, and occassionally even ski. I have a goofy sense of humor and I love and stand by my friends through it all - I'm kind of a people pleaser, and I like to cheer for the underdogs in life.Music and the arts are big for me, I like to participate in local theater, and I love to sing. I want to continue to be active in my life, not just in my hobbies but in volunteering as well, which is also fun for me. My job also allows me to often work amongst veterans, which is very rewarding. I also love traveling. I work hard but I would love to find somebody to share the good times. I am kind of a self-described nerd - I love trivia - but I'm as comfortable at a Cards game as I am at the Opera. I still think St. Louis is a good town with serious issues, but I'm proud to be from here. I'm pretty much up for anything, including coffee, a movie, eating out, beers or drinks, seeing a show, going to the zoo, science center or museum, farmers' market or fair/festival, or ballgame. I like pubs and bars with jukeboxes, too. I love to dance, but I'm no longer too keen on the club scene.

Just seeing what is out there! Hard to describe myself, but here goes: love to laugh, love to be ridiculous, though I can be serious when necessary. Im pretty laid back, not at all high maintenance! No longer into the club scene, preferring early mornings to late nights. I think the best way to describe myself is well-rounded. I enjoy everything from riding my Harley and flying, to outdoor activities, sporting and cultural events, music and the arts, etc. I come from a government/military background and have lived in several countries, am very fond of travelling and make an effort to go on at least one or two international trips a year...full of history, architecture, rich food and not one, but two, vodka museums with samples galore. :) I definitely have an appetite for adventure and embrace the 'life is short' philosophy! I'm forthright, passionate, confident, driven and have a desire to constantly learn and excel at new things. If you couldn't tell from some of the pictures, having a sense of humor, being goofy and able to laugh at yourself is part of keeping a well balanced life :-) My friends say I have the versatility to go from tomboy to girly girl in 0 to 10 and fit into almost any setting or situation with ease. I'm not sure how accurate that is, but it's a nice compliment nonetheless. I'm also a Latin woman, which means I come with a feisty demeanor and lots of curves (so if you're looking for the waif-like/slender type, I'm not it). I somehow got coerced into co-owning a small business and contracting for the government. (Still haven't figured out exactly how that happened lol) So there are a lot of crazy hours, driving/travel and living out of a suitcase involved. I am hopeful that the insanity will calm down soon though. I tend to be attracted to strong, secure, non- I want a partner...someone to be challenged by physically, emotionally and intellectually and vice versa. That's easier said than done, but I know it's possible :) Obviously the profile says I'm looking for a relationship, but who knows what I'll find...perhaps a travel partner, new riding buddy, future business referral, general friend or the great love of my life-- :) How does the shooting range and then dessert sound? lol
