I'm in the field of cardiology by trade but I'm working on opening a non-profit charity.I like volunteering for a number of reasons. I get to chose what I want to do and who I help on a daily basis. Unlike work where you have a schedule, if I don't feel like volunteering that day, I don't have to. The biggest reason voluteering is great is because every person and every animal I help truly needs me for their well-being, in one way or another. I also feel good while doing it.
