I'm good with my hands. Love to cook, walk, and laze around in bed with thin beams of light probing through the curtains. I wear thick funky jumpers, soft scarves and scruffy beach shoes.. My jeans are covered in paint and have holes in the knees. I'm no slob though.Breathing in the fresh air is good; Watching the multitude of autumnal leaves spiral to the floor is a pretty sight and to hear the rhythmic sound of rain bouncing on tin pots and watch it race down the window pane.I watch the sky, listen to the birds (and feed them), love to read all kinds of books - Laughter is the best tonic, but I don't like being tickled. I tell stories to friends' children. I love the scent of herbs and spices and roast dishes. I fix things that are broken and enjoy repairing or restoring items because I am resourceful, and I create with invention whether it's a piece of art or simply decorating a room. I've written a book too. Listening to football matches on the radio or cool tunes on BBC6. I like toffees and thrift shop bargain hunting, films that move me and the feel of hair through fingertips...In a nutshell, I'm patient, fun, bright and ingenious. I'm considerate and a good listener and I love to have a partner to walk and talk with - cook for and hold close. I have my flaws like any other, I know what they are though and as I get older they diminish.I'll give anybody the time of day and I'm courteous, so don't be shy, I always reply - I tell it like it is, tactfully, and won't string you along or hurt you. I've been around the block a few times now and although I'm approaching 40 and would love to be a Dad - I accept that unless it feels right, then Its ok to be alone - company is nice though and I'm hopeful for some ;O) Something simple as a walk and a hot drink, but I'm easy..whatever you like really
