I'm not exactly sure what to write here. I work a lot, with animals, so it goes without saying that I love them. I suppose in that regard, my job at least partially defines who I am. As far as my own pets are concerned, I have a border collie and two cats. My dog is my near constant companion. We participate in a variety of canine sports, and are very active in therapy work.I'm also a single father, and again, this partially defines me. Okay, it defines me, period. I love being a dad, I love my weekends with my daughter, I love parks, zoos, pony class, camping in the backyard, but NOT stickers. I hate stickers. I despise stickers. So why did I buy roughly ***for my daughter last night? Because that's what dad's do... that being said, realize that if we're to be involved, that you'll have to either be understanding of my time with my daughter, or be comfortable, and hopefully enjoy, tagging along with us occasionally. We're very active, and we're always out and about doing something.When I have free time I enjoy the outdoors. Hiking, backpacking, kayaking, etc.; I'm really interested in meeting someone who rock climbs. I've never been, but I'm dying to try. Despite the fact I routinely listen to death metal while working out in the gym, I'm a big classical music fan. I don't really drink, but I enjoy wine festivals. Odd, I know.I know it sounds like my life is very busy, and it is, but don't be fooled, I love my down time. Nothing beats a great nap, or a lazy day here and there, I just don't get them often. I honestly consider myself very low maintenance. I'm definitely not someone who needs to be constantly entertained. I'm just content to be in good company.Lastly, I'm very interested in meeting someone who is into volunteer, charity and/or therapy work of some kind. It's a big part of my life, and it's also something I'd like to involve my daughter in. She already accompanies my dog and I at times. I simply find that being involved in something bigger than yourself is important.

i saw the perfect quote on one of the women's profile today that sums all this hoopla up. "finding someone that's worth waking up to is better than finding someone to sleep with"we all gotta find somebody who's worth it and knows that we're worth it!at 37 years old, after 2 divorces, i am the happiest that i have ever been in my entire life. first and foremost, i am looking to take my time, i mean really take it slow. i may even perhaps take a few years to get to know someone before i am willing to get serious. I DO NOT BELIEVE IN/VALUE PREMARITAL SEX ANYMORE(that's for myself only....everybody else can do what they want). if you are all into premarital sex, make sure your boyfriend and you get tested. it is so easy to do for something so important, it's ridiculous not to get tested. anybody who doesn't want to is a flake. i am in recovery for addiction to drugs and alcohol and after countless attempts to get clean and sober, i am finding that my core values are changing so much. i have been doing MAT(medication assisted treatment) for the past 7 months and it is working really well. i take a lot of naps and really value my free time. i work for a moving company ***days/week and enjoy my job very much. hoping to make a transition to a customer service or sales job at the end of the year. i avoid drama and games like the plague. i like to gamble a little bit. i have AWESOME friends! i recently went from not smoking to smoking a pipe and i enjoy it a lot. i just got my license back and i have been saving for a car(update today i think i found one/replacement title is on it's way). i work about 1mile from home.my credit is shot to hell and i live with my parents. i really enjoy living with my parents by the way. they are awesome and it's great that i get to spend time with them on a regular basis. they are amazing to me and i owe them everything. i do a heck of a lot of stuff for my recovery, so i go to different types of meetings, counseling and recovery related activities throughout the week.i am looking for someone who is passionate about something, whether it be helping the poor or becoming filthy rich. there's not much more that i can think of right now, but if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. i'm not really down with talking on the phone right away, so i am open to texting for a while, at least in the beginning. like i said, i really desire to take things slowi eat lots of candy and junk food and waste money on energy drinks. after child support, i have little money left over for recreational spending. my birth family is split in half by hatred. i don't know why i mentioned that. it just seems important.i like all types of music, but especially movie soundtracks and opera music. i have many dreams! i also have a great work ethic, but am by no means a workaholic... i am looking for someone who is passionate about something, whether it be helping the poor or becoming filthy rich.
