What I'm doing with my life: What I'm doing with my life is somewhat complicated. I'm a college graduate with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Theatre. Right now I'm looking for a job in that field, so I can finally have my own classroom. I love teaching, and I'm so glad I finally figured out what I want to do. Now I just have to bide my time until I find my dream classroom.Until then I'm substitute teaching at the area elementary schools, and serving at a local restaurant. It's not glamorous work, but it pays the bills, and I can live comfortably on my own. Which is something that I'm rather proud of. This does however mean that I have a tendency to work a lot. I always make time for people in my life, but working is important to my life as well.My friends call me a workaholic, and I am in a sense. I worked ***jobs all through college, and I also went to school full time. Was it always enjoyable? Heck no, but it did help shape the person who I am today, which I think is pretty great. What I'm good at: Stress knitting, being creative, finding new ways to do things (even if they aren't practical) and most importantly not being able to spell half of my vocabulary. I would also have to add here, getting lost. I'm really good that that...oh, and I'm also terrible at giving directions. That might have something to do with the getting lost bit. Also, I'm a ninja of sorts at pretending I know what I'm talking about...this might come from teaching kids who ask a lot of questions, but I can come up with a reasonable explanation for just about anything, hey fake it until you make it. I could spend entirely too much time talking about this but, I will wait for you to ask me about it.I probably own far too many movies.TV shows are along the same lines as the movies; I own far too many of them and I watch far too many of them. This list could go on and on.Music is something that moves me and I can relate almost anything to a song. Also, I am what is known as a encyclopedia for song lyrics. I tend to prefer music that is not found on the radio; my zune Claudia is my main source. There is so much more to add to this list; but if I told you everything we would have nothing new to learn.Food speaks to my soul I love to cook food and share it with people. I love pasta, soups, rare beef, pizza and Chinese. I don't however eat any pig products; it's not a religion choice its just a belief that I have had for the past six years. Right now, I'm teaching preschool/toddlers at a local non profit.
