I recently moved back to the south after reconnecting with my biological family. I've been single since March after a two year relationship. I don't know anyone here except for family so I thought it was time that I meet some new people.I'm not usually a shy person at all but for some reason this site has me on guard a bit. It seems odd that we're all here to meet new people but no one seems to take the initiative to start conversations here. Guess I'll have to start the majority of them if I want to get anywhere lol. I would eventually like to be in a relationship again but I certainly don't expect it to happen overnight. I'd just like to be able to make some decent friends and see what happens. They DO say the best relationships start as friends anyway. I have a crappy job but I'm a hard worker and they take advantage of that. Work me like a pack mule I tell ya. I really would like to go back to school at some point if possible. Never too late for bettering oneself. I appreciate a man that knows how to work his rear off too. I've ended up taking care of too many people and would really like to avoid that again at all costs. Honestly, if there's anything you want to know, just take the initiative and ASK. I'm an open book. ;)I'm a pretty simple person. I don't want too much from anyone. Honesty and a sense of humor are "must haves". If you can make me laugh and smile, you'll have an advantage over most. I'm a tad on the sarcastic side and my sense of humor is sometimes a bit twisted. Luckily, there are a lot of folks out there that are exactly the same. I tend to gravitate towards like souls.****Just a side note...completely astounded at the number of truly rude men I've encountered in less than 24 hours on this site. Sad. No home training I guess. *For those folks that have a preference for what you want in a man / woman...that's great. We all have a preference or something that does it for us more than others. However, if you have to be rude about your preference then you have some personality traits that need workin on. You're no better than anyone else. You might want to remember that the next time you're "preening" in your mirrors. Beauty fades folks, and all you'll be left with is your stank, holier than thou attitudes. Those will get you nowhere but alone in the end. ;) Anything that is going to give two people a chance to talk and get to know one another. That IS the goal, correct? Location and such shouldn't hold as much importance as it does for some folks.

I am a hard working mom of 3 crazy boys, ages 16, 13, and 12, and I love it! Their dad and I are divorced but we are good friends and work together equally to raise them. My music tastes are diverse from country, Christian, oldies, 80's rock, to jazz and blues...Roll Tide!). Although I grew up an athlete, I am currently a curvy plus-size girl and I am just fine with that. If you don't appreciate a little thicker woman, please move along. One of my favorite sayings about that is that meat is for the man, and bones are for the dogs...lol. Affection and attention are important to me as I love when a man makes me feel special, and I definitely enjoy letting him know he is special to me, too. I support myself, so I am not looking for someone to take care of me, but I do love when a man wants to make me feel taken care of in those little ways. Other ways I would describe myself would be caring, loyal, bold, stubborn, sexy, funny, and definitely an open book. Nobody wants drama, but if I said I come with no baggage I would be lying. I think anyone who has had their heart broken has baggage they have to work thru. I believe that any relationship has the potential to be beautiful if 2 people are committed to it. That is what I am ultimately looking for, the lasting companionship of a loving man. But one step at a time.If you don't have a pic or your pics are all old, please don't bother contacting me. It just starts things out on the wrong foot. Coffee or ice-cream for a first date would be nice.

Life is great but it would be far better to share it with the perfect guy! I have an amazing job that makes work feel more like going to second home than an actual job...most days.
