I grew up near the beach, it is my favorite place and is what calms me. My family and close friends are extremely important to me...I am a people person but would be nothing without my support system. My life would not complete until I can travel the world. My job is demanding but I enjoy what I do and meeting new people. I am always up for having a great time, whether it's going out to a local bar, or finding something outdoors to w friends. In the summer, you can usually find me somewhere outside, if not at the beach! I take big trips all over the world with my time off. Headed to South America in November 2013. Spent a lot of time getting my education. I'm an FSU graduate. I like some sports like baseball, college football, tennis and I sometimes play in a kickball league. I love movies and stay at home hanging out in my movie theater room. My family, friends, job and home are all here and I don't see myself leaving. Would like a partner who is ready to be just that, an equal partner in a relationship. Underneath my candy-sweet exterior you'll find a rapier wit, more than your daily recommended dose of nerdiness and a surprisingly bawdy, often pitch-black sense of humour. I love knowledge for its own sake, especially the trivial, the arcane and the downright weird. I'm also the proud owner of a very vivid imagination. If I see a tent, I will dream up a circus. In my free time, I love writing, drawing and spending time in nature, especially hiking or kayaking. There's also definitely something to be said for spending a night in - cooking, watching movies, savouring a glass of wine and just enjoying good company and conversation.A librarian by training, I'm a voracious reader of anything from literary fiction, non-fiction and graphic novels to the backs of cereal boxes, dimestore novels and those old, bedraggled Readers' Digests at the doctor's office. Studying history and world cultures is also something that I find really fascinating. Sometimes I entertain daydreams about building a time machine to go do anachronistic, horribly inappropriate things in other eras that will bemuse and baffle the people who rightly belong there.A confession: I am that creature rarer and more mystical than the unicorn - a girl gamer. Let's see, I'm no stranger to this site, however I recently concluded that my "about me" sounded more less like a resume than a dazzling discription of my personality. With that being said, if you can't carry on a conversation above a highschool level and find it completely acceptable to use "wut" for "what" and "2" for "to" in your messages, sadly I am not the girl for you. Even though you think my brain is sexy, I sadly don't agree that yours is. I believe chivalry isn't dead and that I'm an old soul that finds a guy who opens doors and says yes ma'am and no ma'am to his momma to be quite attractive.
