Being a good mom is the most important thing to me, even though my "baby" is 20 .So someone who is a good father (if they have children) is important. I always say KIDS FIRST and wouldn't want to be with someone who doesn't follow that rule. I'm a very modern person with some old-fashioned preferences. For example, I think a man should be a gentleman, and a woman act like a lady. I tend to be a bit hesitant when first meeting someone,but warm up quickly and then am very outgoing. Love to have a great conversation and get to know you. Communication is critical for me. And total honesty....if you can't be honest with someone you want a relationship with, then please move on. I would rather you tell me the truth, even if it's something that would upset me, than to be lied to and not only be hurt, but lose the trust as well. As far as hobbies and activities, I enjoy cooking, going to concerts and movies, playing pool and darts,going fishing (yes, I will bait my own hook, LOL!), spending time with my friends and family. Would LOVE to find someone who enjoys dancing, or who will at least give it a shot. Quality time doesn't mean spending a lot of money, it means being there and doing things with the person you care about. I love most types music, particularly rock, 80's Metal,blues and some individual artists such as Mellencamp and Jason Mraz --There is always music on. GENTLEMEN WHO SAY NO MARRIEDS -- PLEASE READ THIS....yes I am separated. LEGALLY separated...this means I am GETTING A DIVORCE. They didn't give me the option of in the middle of a divorce, but rest assured, I AM getting a divorce,and no, I will NOT change my mind & go back to him. EVER!! Thanks! I am really starting to dislike this question...I mean, why does it even need to be on here? I'm open to a casual meet for coffee or a drink, but a date should be a date, not just a casual "oh lets see how it goes - I have nothing better to do today/tonight". If you are interested enough to ask someone out, then you should give it your best shot. I know I will. And, just for the record...a second date can be a wonderful thing. I would have missed out on some great times if I hadn't given a second chance to a rough first date. Perhaps one of us is nervous, or hasn't been dating in a long time or even had a rough day for whatever reason but still sucked it up and showed up for the date. I believe that everyone deserves another chance if possible. Maybe you should too? Just a thought...
