Lets see, I'm probably just like everybody else here...sick of meeting the wrong people or nobody at all, so I'm giving something different a shot. As far as what I'm looking for... a relationship can be for a season, a reason, or a lifetime...I would like to find someone for the long term, but in the short term I would love to find someone who just wants to hang out and do something fun every once in a while.....or the Carribean :) Pretty much anything within a three hour plane ride is game. I don't have a particular "type" of person I'm interrested in, half the fun in dating is meeting someone who has very different interrests or lifestyles, however, I do click best with people who are laid back, friendly, and in general open minded.If you want to know more... just ask. Hmmm...I'll definately have to think about this, although I do prefer something that is low key and short for the first date...like meeting up for a cup of coffee or a lunch. Having a few people meet up at a bar (you, me, your friend, my friend) is also cool for a low pressure intro...once i get a good vibe, i'll start to think about the big ticket dates :)

My parents are literally right off the boat. So I am a first generation Croatian / Italian mutt. Tall, dark, and handsome from the Croat side and the blood of a killer chef from the Ginny side. It really is the best of both worlds and I couldn't have asked for a better mix. We like to get it down, down, down, down!!!! Oh yeah baby we rock it like it's hot! Good old fashion European fun!! We have family parties, which usually means Croatian music and dancing, the old guys singing wartime songs in the corner, tons of authentic dishes, homemade grappa and wine, great conversations, and we always cook a lamb or pig on the spit for every occasion. When I say every I mean every occasion. We even party for obscure saints that no one has ever heard of just for the sake of getting the family together. It is a really awesome and dear part of my heritage. My friends can't get enough of it either and at this point I even have friends that have married my cousins. I understand my family is different and a bit unusual but they are so down to earth and accepting of others that you can only love them! My work life is a well directed and passionate one. I pretty much have two successful careers going on at the same time. I run a successful and artistic wood flooring business with my father. We create beautiful hardwood flooring for high end big money homes. This job is my bread and butter and it pays for all my everyday needs, traveling all over the place (croatia every summer), my fishing boat (that always seems to have something go wrong), and my house. My second career is what I am most passionate about. I have a deep love for animals and I studied turtles as a Masters student so that I could contribute to understanding and protecting turtles in the wild forever. I love turtles!! So far i have had a ton of success and every year I get more and more land protected for them. It is a great feeling to know that I have done something that has made a difference for my little reptilian friends :). There is so much more to tell about me, my passions and heritage and of course some crazy stories about my family and friends. So if I caught your attention and you would like to know more about me then just ask. Don't be afraid I don't bite, well not all the time :P Dinner or a hike would be a good start.
