I decided to update this as it seemed a bit stale or aloof. Here it goes.I work hard, have always worked hard. I have learned that working 60 hrs. a week was not a good thing in promoting my relationships. I am loyal, honest and truthful (sometimes to the extreme). I'd like to have someone in my life, but I don't 'need' someone to be happy. I'd enjoy spending time with someone and learning about them. My pictures are horrible but that's the way it is. I'd enjoy you without war paint and hairspray, hence why attraction is more then physical.I have a job, I have dogs, I have political views and I have strong faith that everything will be ok. I don't mind working around the house, taking you to dinner or a night of dancing (I'll need to relearn though). First dates, now there is a challenge! I think a first date should be something of mutual interest that is easy to do. A canned repsonse here isn't going to do it, like 'dinner and a movie'. I LOVE A NICE LONG CONVERSATION AND AM EASY TO TALK TO. I enjoy those rare fascinating finds on ebay. I Like buying and selling. I am not a liberal and did not vote for Obama. Politically my views and outlook are pretty conservative and traditional.I think our founding fathers would be rolling over in their graves if they could witness what America has become. Yes I am intrigued and fascinated by history. I think WW2 history is about as interesting as history gets. My # 1 favorite non-sexual fantasy would be to be able to time travel.I love to make people laugh and am very humorous myself, but other times I can also be very serious deep and sensitive.;. the NORTHEAST and NORTHWEST. ***Wouldn't it be something to live somewhere in EUROPE some day?*** (At the very least I want to visit.) :) I CONSIDER MYSELF A KIND, LOVING and DEVOTED PERSON and I WANT THE SAME in A WOMAN . I do like to stay up to date with most News and current events but don't like 80% of what's on TV with the *exception of 'Breaking Bad', most of the history channel shows ( "VIKINGS!" ) and CLASSIC OLD MOVIES, and on occasion a more modern movie.I DO MISS HAVING A WOMAN AROUND TO PLEASE AND TO PLEASE ME. I can be very sensuous and passionate with the Right woman but I expect and need ONE -on***monogamy and want to explore THE BEST that life can be with my special dream woman that can be MY PARTNER, BEST Friend and Life LOVE.I can be something of a loner sometimes - so I can and will definitely respect your space, but I am TIRED of growing older alone.I'm not rich but I'm responsible and have my own money. I've got a nice TRUCK, a pretty Nice SUV and even a motorcycle but it feels kind of empty sometimes I would rather have that someone special and the "happily ever after" I've heard about! ***Please put this on your***profile if you***know someone who has***died of old age***while looking for***their perfect match***on this site. There are so many things we could do. I like site-seeing, and discovering interesting places and things... Or going to an awesome remote restaurant with the perfect blend of cuisine, atmosphere, and good service. Of course intimate romantic dinners at home are nice as well and just hanging out and talking getting to know each other better or becoming better buds.I'm not much of a drinker but I sometimes like a nice glass of wine or a cold bottle of beer or two.Whatever happens it's nice to just spend time being ourselves and being spontaneous. Maybe I'll get a big wet kiss at the door. lol.

I would have to say I am a very laid back, easy going person however. I like to watch many sports as well as play them, going on weekend week long getaways, spending time hanging on the beach, spending time with my friends. I like to try new activities and places (It's fun to learn about new stuff).I believe an ideal relationship is based upon trust. I think that the two people must have a solid friendship, which gives a foundation to build on. You should have some common interests and some interests that you can share with each other. Respect, honesty and communication between partners are vital. A relationship is a ***partnership and each needs to give and take in order to get the full benefits. You shouldn't change your life to fit there's. You must be yourself. Communication is important but it only works if both parties want it to. It really doesn't matter where you go or what you do as long as the conversation is endless, lots of eye contact, sparks, CHEMISTRY is key, if it's right, it's right, the rest just happens.
