I'm an Interior Designer who likes to think outside of the box. Being creative is my passion, not only in my work, but in everything in life. I love life and adventure, and I'm looking for someone to explore with me what the world has to offer.Hanging out with friends and family, listening to live music, going to the movies, the theatre, watching football,(LSU, The Texans and The Saints) and doing just about anything outdoors, are things I really enjoy. I like to travel, & learn about the cultures and arts of the areas. Drawing and painting are two of my hobbies, but don't spend near enough time doing it. I'm outgoing, loyal, honest to a fault & very easy to talk to. I'm an affectionate person. I love passionate kisses and warm hugs. I require hugs on a regular basis. I want someone with whom I can continue to grow spiritually. Jesus is my Lord and We should share a mutual respect & appreciation for one another. Country gal, tired of being alone and doing it all by myself. I like to fish, be on the river, does not really matter if I catch anything,all about the venture and who I am with. Not a mall shopper, actually do not like to shop. Prefer the Walmart thing, all in one place,plus no fun, pushing the buggy alone. So here I am on meetville. I love travel.- Europe too I love the outdoors - I enjoy camping and can cook on a fire or Dutch oven if I want to. I like the mountains as much as the beach. Love the southwest... Love the ocean... Boats and all. Snorkeling is so cool. The bigger the sky the betterI like music. Classic rock and blues have always been a favorite- not much I can't enjoy for a while. I listen and enjoy it all. Live music is the bestI've been successful in business and am looking at my next opportunity and maybe career. Laughter is a necessity. Things are too stressful without it. After finally raising my 3 children to adulthood and was my father's advocate during his hard battle with Alzhemier's, I am ready to live my life and plan on enjoying every minute that I can. My love and passion if money was no object would be to travel. I have traveled worldwide and have never been to a location that I wasn't able to find something fun to enjoy. I enjoy trying new places and the spicier the better. I enjoy reading, hanging out with friends, and driving in my car inthe summer evenings. I'm also a big Saints and LSU football fan. Meet somewhere neutral like a wine bar, or a quite place so that we may relax and get to know each before dinner. Open to ideas that would be safe and fun.

I enjoy a nice walk, when I have the time. I would like to go on a cruise someday. I enjoy spending time with my family. I like to cook and enjoy a good home cooked meal. I enjoy listening to music from the 80's. I also like dancing. Going out to eat, go someplace to talk so we can get to know each other. Then see where it goes from there.

After reading some of the writings of some of you guys, I hope you realize that not all of us women are like some of the ones you are meeting; the not so nice ones. It goes both ways, I've met some very nice men and some not so nice. Please don't judge us all by the bad ones and I'll try to do the same. I am kind, considerate and patient. Not really "a living life to it's fullest" kind of girl; hell I'm just trying to live my life as positively and productively as I can. I am an affectionate,"touchy-feely, huggy" type of girl. I enjoy gardening, reading, dancing, concerts,home improvement projects volunteering and spending time with family and friends. I find happiness in simple things, always look for the positive in my life and am very trustworthy and loyal. My faith is very important to me. God has certainly been a constant in my life in both good times and bad. He has truly blessed me. Would love to find a partner that shares the same interests as I do. Not concerned with what you drive, or how much you make; it's who you are inside that is important to me. Family and friends are everything. I am as comfortable in a dress as I am in an old pair of jeans. Call me old fashioned but I still like being treated like a lady and having doors opened for me. Looking for my one and only. Kids are grown and gone, and am looking for someone to date. Maybe something more as time goes on, but I would like to meet someone and become good friends before considering anything long term. I love to take my camera for hikes, using my pictures as inspiration for my blog writing. One word to describe me is spontaneous. This past 4th of July weekend, I jumped in my car and just headed east till I hit the ocean, then turned left and continued on till I found lighthouses and cheap lobster! Every once in a while, last minute road trips are just the ticket!I am a teacher, a writer, a community theatre performer, a mom of grown children that I love to death, and a Nana. I get to the YMCA at least three times a week, and I have been training to do 5Ks. I ran my first just a couple of months ago for the first time in my life, and it felt amazing to just cross the starting line, let alone the finish line! I quit smoking in January and have never felt better in my life!..chased by zombies! :-) I actually wanted to BE one of the zombies, but maybe next time. It's not like I've never worn the Tom Savini make-up before...I had a bit part as a town-clerk-turned- The film, Ombis: Alien Invasion, was released in May.I like to cook, and I can usually be found at the Public Market on Saturday mornings. I love the fresh produce as well as the whole atmosphere... c'est la vie boheme! Along with quitting smoking, I am eating a much healthier diet which also includes juicing several times a week. That doesn't mean that I don't enjoy a cheeseburger or pizza/wings from time to time! Everything in moderation...so I can enjoy. Yep! Aerial Silks at the age of 51! It requires a lot of strength, hence my joining the Y to work out. I injured my elbow a couple of months ago, so I am currently on injured reserves for silks. I am hoping that my tendonitis soon heals so that I can return to my training. I may not be especially graceful at it (yet), but I am off the couch and taking a chance.So...maybe you'd be willing to take a chance and share some time with me? Coffee is always a good first date so we can talk a bit to see if there is any chemistry. I appreciate someone who is completely honest, and if I am not your type, then just come right out and say so. Believe me, as a teacher, I have thick enough skin to handle it. Those places with comfy chairs near a crackling fireplace are especially nice.

I love humor and think it is the cornerstone of so many things in life. When I commit to a project or someone, I am all in and with passion. I thrive on multi-tasking at work. I am good at putting the people and resources together to make things happen. I am an extrovert in work situations. In my personal life, I am more of an introvert and enjoy quiet time at home and with close friends. I love writing and have had some things published. I was a disc jokey in high school and college which has led to a diverse knowledge and appreciation of several genres of music. I also love working with the news media and journalists. I also like police dramas and TV news. HGTV is fun too. I love going to the movies. I find it very relaxing to get away from cell phones and the fast pace of life. I love to travel - and I do a fair amount for work. I like trying new things on the road and seeing the sites and going off the beaten bath to really see the heart of America. I am close to my family and enjoy friends that I've had for many years and the ones that I have met more recently. People are what is important in life - not what they do but how they treat you as a friend and others around them. I love my two dogs and cat. I have always been a one dog person until I inherited Dad's sweet dog. It is great having two companions. I hope to travel more for fun in the future and aspire to make someone happy in a relationship. A nice, quiet setting for dinner where talking isn't so hard then seeing live music somewhere. Dining is always nice outside, close to nature.
