I am a 34 year old college graduate with an Associates in Music Performance and a Bachelors Degree in Communications and Photography. I am a single, never been married, bachelorette looking for a great guy for a casual and possibly long term relationship. I am friendly and normally sport a huge smile and pleasant personality. I am not into game playing or bush beating and prefer guys who feel the same way. No time for "whys, lies or alibis". I also teach photography, photoshop and work with graphic arts and photo reconstruction. I enjoy Ice Skating & skiing if someone's close to catch me when I fall. Nothing's quite as fun as steamy workouts at the gym with a handsome spotter. My ideal fellow appreciates my opinions & can listen as well as share his thoughts. He's respectful & is generous with his time. He knows how to help me relax and enjoys making me laugh. He is comfortable in the kitchen and doesn't mind trying new unusual dishes. He should like my pets - a few cute puppies - and tolerate my crazy family. He is absolutely confident and secure in his career and with his lifestyle. My ideal guy values education and above all, a meaningful and a purpose filled life. My guy enjoys star gazing and has beautiful sexy eyes that I can get lost in, myself. If you're turned on by body art or unique piercings, I might not be your match, as I have an honest respect for my body. I am not a walking canvas or pin cushion. I prefer my art framed and hanging on the wall. And one other thought, if you don't want to insult the ladies... it would be a good idea not to address them with "Hey Baby". And here is another deal breaker... responders who have posted any picture proudly shooting the bird. Please, don't even expect a reply. Finally, above all else, I want to find a guy who is honest. One who I can't wait to see for our next date; a guy who can make me smile just by hearing his voice on the phone, and who loves to sit close and hold hands. I have spent a total of 0 minutes in a bar or club (honestly), so that would not be of interest to me on a first date or any there after. Drinking has its place, but it is not my lifestyle so I feel obligated to share that up front. I am recently divorced and slowly re-entering the dating scene. It's a bit trickier than I remembered it! I am a bartender. I fancy myself a writer but, let's face it, a gals gotta eat! I have two English Bulldogs that rule with an iron paw! I value humor over almost all else and have a fairly wicked sense myself. I've tried standup before and intend to do so again. I like to write, paint, sing karaoke (but only if everyone listening is plastered.) I am kind to everyone and really can't tolerate hateful or overly morose people. I'm cheerful and would prefer to be around other cheerful folks! I am an avid reader and digest information well. I'm intelligent, witty, friendly and I seem to put people at ease. I'm trying to break out of my social scene "rut" to meet new people and it's been pretty fun so far. I want to finish a book I started and stalled on. I want to get more editing experience. I want to take up boxing and I want to know where I put my damned keys! I am extremely lucky to have a great number of friends. If we meet, they are likely to give me the third degree about you so, just be prepared to answer a few questions! One of my friends was freaked that I'd try the online dating thing. We were sitting at a bar and she was getting pretty blustery saying " but they could be a serial killer!" I pointed to a dude a few seats down and said "so could he. What difference does it make where I met them?" I'm fairly certain the guy wasn't a serial killer. At least not at this point in his life. I would very much appreciate if you weren't either! ;) Not to sound like a barfly but my first encounter with you will likely be in that setting. It's a comfort issue. There are people around but they will generally leave you alone and it's less intimate, which for a first meeting takes the pressure off! Now if we like each other and want to go on a real date, I enjoy long dinners with good wine, easy conversation and laughing. As for destinations, I'm pretty much game for anything. I like the zoo, for example! That being said, I don't handle excessive heat too well, so the next few months of summer agony should probably be spent in a pool or central air condition.
