I am a proud mother of two dogs and a cat. I spend most of my time hanging out with my close friends and my family. I am very pround to be called a hopeless romantic and have no intention of ever changing it. I love to spend the day going to a lumber jack show or water park or beach. I've just recently made some big changes in my life. I lost 30lbs and went and had a little work done to my stomach, doesn't even look like there was a baby in there lol. I'm usually most attracted to taller, bigger guys- but there is a lot that I find attractive in a man that has nothing to do with looks. I've been a little " big boned" since I was a kid but I let stress get the best of me over the last several years, and it's gotten quite out of control. Since Feb/March, I've lost 45 lbs, and I continue to lose. I would love to meet someone who thinks beauty comes in all sizes, wants me for who I am, and also wants to support me in my journey to live a healthy lifestyle.I have one son, 11 years old, and I love being his mom. In general, I love kids of all ages, backgrounds, and attitudes. I'm a middle school special education teacher. I love my job- I love public schools, but not because of the politics. In fact, I hate all of the BS. I am there for my kids. I tell my kids they are my students for a year or two, but they are my kids for life. I think I'm a pretty simple person. I get enjoyment out of the little stuff. Some interests: being with friends and family, supporting my kid in his endeavors, cooking, crafting, reading, movies, road trips, gardening, family outings. I like a good night out with friends at a dive bar for karaoke. I'd love to expand my experiences and go to more events, concerts, museums and parks, etc. I love to laugh. Sometimes I think I laugh too much, and sometimes I think my sense of humor is driven by a teenage boy (a side effect of teaching middle school for going on 10 years). I wish I didn't have any deal breakers, but like most women, I do. I think I'm pretty reasonable though- and I'm not shutting myself off from meeting an amazing person just because their situation isn't perfect. I just need to surround myself with people who are responsible and emotionally stable, so I have some flexible criteria. Ask me about it if you want to know. I honestly don't know! I'm pretty shy at first. It just takes me a little time to warm up to someone. I come across as incredibly nervous, when really, I'm just trying too hard to break through my comfort zone so that I can have fun.
