I was thinking about who I am or what I think I am... I would have to say I am a blend of a true traditionalist mixed with a guy that loves to have fun and enjoy life. I LOVE family and everything that goes with that good or bad. I DO NOT go for drama or issues. With that being said I have more patients then anyone I know. I can say that with confidence. My first daughter is deaf and taught me that I LOVE being a dad. I never thought of what I needed only of what I can do to take the road blocks out of the way of all those I LOVE. Yes, I can be very corny. Yes, I am real. I have always believed that you will only get out of life what you have put into life. I put everything I am in to the world around me. I love with all my heart and expect the same in return. I have dinner with my son and my folks every friday at 6. It is something I believe to be very important. Its only 1 1/2 to 2 hrs but its fun to hear the stories. "What can I do for you?" These words feel very natural to me. More than most people, I am genuinely interested in the well-being of others. If they are in trouble, I offer compassion and go out of your way to be helpful. If you need someone who will listen, I am attentive, trustworthy and sympathetic. And I am direct with people; when you need advice or counsel, I offer it in as straightforward and direct a manner as I can.

My two boys come first. Otherwise, I like to hunt and camp, watch football and movies (in that order), and go on long walks and beach vacations. I also like horses and enjoy training Standardbred pacers. I am not a huge fan of bars, but I go out on occasion and enjoy eating in new places. I am outdoor person, and I really like the summer and fall. One of my favorite things to do is cookout with family and friends. For the record, I am a veteran and I work in the mental health field. My peers tell me I am a leader. I do find this work to be very rewarding.

With the ridiculous guy/girl ratio, what the hell do I say to some girl I don't even know who gets 10-12 messages a day from dudes on here? That's it...that's my opening line!I don't like taking pics so much.-iterated some past experiences on here and it offended people, probably people who have done the same thing? (Lied about their status, looks, body style, etc, no disclosure on medication?) That, and when you put "**UPDATE**" more than 5 times on your profile, it is more behooving to start over.I have been on this website for a while, and like my headline, "you get what you pay for." I have met a few people and I can tell you some horror stories. But then again there has been some catch and release, and that catch/release thing has been a two-way street. I am looking for a relationship, but not on the first date. These things take time to develop.I notice a lot of girls have something similar on their profile like "Not here for a one-night stand," "not here for a booty call;" etc. What the heck do dudes write that make so many girls put that up? I like doing a lot of hobbies; mostly bowling, watching football, and so much more stuff.
