Looking for: woman. In age: 40-50
I'm too busy to be needy, somewhat old fashion, have a sense of humor, have compassion you can feel in a touch. Skeptical and optimistic both. Can't really explain what I'm looking for except for not needy or clingy. I'm not looking to get married, but could use company. Have 2 dogs that are basically my kids. I believe in infinite possibilities, karma, divine guidance and energy work. So open minded works well with me. depends. bowling, put put, going on ride, something we can interact while doing.

Ok, I am giving this another shot. I want to meet someone who is fun, outgoing, likes kids, does not do drugs as a recreational hobby, likes working out, intelligent, sexy, has a sense of humor . . .and most importantly . . . understands life is a journey, not a destination. I love God, but I dont go to church. I love my kids, they are totally awesome. Lets say I am rich in children . . . Say hello if you want. For a first date, I think talking over dinner is a good thing. If the conversation is good, the time passes, and it will be known between two if there is more for the future.

Okay, I’ve been back in the online dating world since the beginning of the year and unfortunately it hasn’t gone as smoothly as expected. I’ve talked to a bunch of women, had a few dates here and there, even had some truly strange experiences as well. Still, I haven’t been able to find the one woman who will get me off these sites. I typically write a long, detailed description about myself, who I am and who I’m looking for. Unfortunately it hasn't worked out as well as I hoped however as it seems too many people here opt to just look at pictures and move on…and quite honestly those aren’t the type of women I’m looking for anyway so maybe that’s a good thing. Online dating can be frustrating at times but being the optimistic person that I am I keep plugging away because I know from experience this can work. So, I guess I’ll start by giving you an idea of who I am: easy-going laid back guy, not too much that stresses me out and I don’t get angry often. Very honest, loyal, intelligent, and an excellent communicator…I have no problem talking about anything and I’m not one of these guys that keeps all his thoughts to himself, you’ll always know what I’m thinking. Great sense of humor, you’ll almost always find me smiling and I’ve always been great at making others laugh. I have a good, stable career, my own home, and an amazing dog who makes me smile every day. I even love to cook, and I’m pretty good at it as well. I feel very lucky and blessed with everything in my life, now I’m just looking for the right woman to share it with me.As far as who I’m searching for, I’m not looking for perfection. I’d love to find someone who is comfortable talking about their own thoughts, hopes, and dreams...communication is essential to a great relationship. Someone who will be honest with me no matter what the circumstances, someone who is funny, loyal, and can carry their own in a great conversation. Most of all, someone who is actually looking for a real relationship that hopefully leads to marriage and possibly a family as well. Is any of this really too much to ask? As far as this site goes, at the moment all I'm really looking for is some honesty, and maybe a bit of kindness? I know it's easy to *** you don't want to meet, but honestly seeing "unread, deleted" after I send an *** like the rudest thing you can do on a dating site. If you're not interested and don't respond I get it and move on, no big deal. Can it really hurt to take a minute and read the *** receive though? Just a thought, maybe I'm bit old fashioned but a little common courtesy can go a long way! Since it’s the first question I’m usually asked when I start talking to someone new, yes I am legally divorced and I’ve been back on my own for a couple years. I took my time before I decided to start dating again to make sure I was ready to start over again and I’m glad I did that. I wasn’t looking to be dating again at my age, but sometimes life throws you a curve or knocks you down when you discover someone isn’t who you thought they were. Then you get up, dust yourself off and move on with your life. I’m sure almost everyone here has been hurt by someone at least once, but I think it’s how we learn and grow from those experiences that are really important. If you made it this far, thank you for actually taking a few minutes to learn a little about me. Now are you ready to meet one of these elusive good guys that I see almost every woman here is looking for? How do you know I’m not just another one of the idiots you see on this site every day? Well besides the fact that I don’t post pictures of myself in the mirror with my shirt off, or write *** contain less than one sentence, I hope this description speaks for itself. If you still need proof, all you need to do is say hi and ask my anything you want to know.;You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." Even if you never watch hockey, that quote is relevant to daily life. You can look through profiles here every day and see things you may or may not like, but until you take a chance to get to know someone, you're not shooting the puck. You'll never score if you don't take a shot, so shoot in my direction! So many women here talk about how all guys are the same and that's just not true, you're getting the same results because you keep talking to the same kind of guy. "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results." Stop the insanity and change your results! Don’t be afraid to say hi, you just may find what you’ve been looking for. Dating doesn’t have to be hard, give me a chance to prove it! Nothing too loud or crowded, someplace where we can spend some time talking or maybe get a bite to eat. Maybe a walk by a lake or some kind of park if the weather is nice? Whatever both of us would be comfortable with, I'm more interested in getting to know you than where we go or what we do.
