I've read numerous profiles and there seems to be a common theme. Women looking for men seem to want honesty more than anything else.So here's some honesty. Not a "typical male" in the sense that I am truly looking for a relationship. No FWB, no one night stands, no booty calls. I'm single, have never been married and have no kids (by choice and I have no problem if you have them. I get along with them. Still a kid at heart ya know) and hopefully no baggage. I have been in long term relationships for the better part of the last 15 years. During this time I can say that I was loyal and honest and gave everything as I always do. I'm not a serial dater. When I find someone I'm interested in, I devote my energy to that one. It's hard enough to remember what I wore yesterday let alone try to remember info on more than one person.I am funny and not just saying that. I don't do jokes well but am really good at situational and observational humor. It can be crass and cutting edge but that humor is usually reserved for those close to me and they appreciate my ability to say things they wish they could. And let it be known that I laugh at myself regularly. My humor also has limits and filters and I try not to offend the more uptight crowd. Sarcasm is a second language. A i'm also good at speaking for pets. They say funny things besides squirrel. Firm believer that daily laughter is the best way to cleanse the soul. Laughing together magnifies this.I work full time. I enjoy what I do although the hours are non traditional and all over the place. The benefit is that I know my schedule well in advance and can plan my activities around that. I also work hard. Management position that causes stress and an extreme sense of accomplishment. I've learned to leave my stress at work when I leave which allows to enjoy my free time better.I am also active. In my free time I play golf, some hiking, yard work and landscaping. When I say "average body type" it means just that. 6 foot tall and around ***lbs. Toned legs, somewhat broad shoulders although there are a couple of extra pounds around the mid section. Seems as age has this ability to make shredding those more and more difficult as each day passes by. She's been my baby for quite awhile and I plan on keeping her around for as long as I can. However if you need someone to haul around 30 bags of mulch, a washer or dryer or maybe an antique coffee table then I'm your guy.I don't drink. I don't do drugs and that includes ***which some folks are still on the fence about whether it's legal or not. No tattoos or piercings. Nothing against them just not a fan of pain.Things I enjoy: Spending time with family and friends. Shooting pool. Fishing. Throwing Frisbees in the park. Most movies (This includes chick flicks as long as it's not everytime), most music and am willing to try a lot of foods although the basics like steak, seafood, Italian and baked goods can never go wrong.I am caring and protective, especially to those close to me. I have no problem with sharing feelings or emotions. Very open in that aspect as I believe communication is so important in making a relationship work. My friends are part of a tight nit group and I would do anything for them. As evident by this profile I also don't have many problems talking. I also enjoy affection, public or private.What I want is easy and simple although it gets overused in profiles. I really want to find my best friend, my partner and teammate. You have to be able to accept my imperfections as well as my perfections and I will return the favor. Accept me for me and be willing to work on building something wonderful together. Not into drama or lies or games. No room in my life for that.
