Hello out there:) A few words to describe myself...I'm pretty laid back about most things, relationships included (not in a negative way). I'm not a jealous person and I enjoy time with friends/with myself. I feel that occasional time alone is healthy as it gives time to self reflect and check where one is at in life/relationships/etc. On the flip side, I enjoy my time together, to talk deep with a glass of wine or to be silly and relaxed with the dogs and a movie. I uplift whenever I can and prefer the same. Relationships should be a positive and add to life. I don't deal well with snarky attitudes or passive aggressiveness. I prefer to talk about what is going on rather than drag it out/have drama. If space is needed, then that is needed to be stated and I will give space to discuss once emotions have calmed. I talk things out and prefer that in a relationship. If drama becomes a theme, then I will step away. I move slow in relationships as I want to get to know people well before making bigger steps. As most of you have probably experienced, one gets into a relationship and move in together...a whole new side seems to come out of that person...lol So I have found it beneficial to take time in getting to know someone and appreciating their qualities...and then going from there. :) I am a bit of a neat freak, but a house can be lived in. With two great danes, I keep the hair to a minimum and like to keep things picked up as my youngest dane eats anything...and I mean anything...socks, hand towels, t-shirts, scunchies, gloves, etc. Then it's a waiting game to see if I will need to take her to the vet. Thankfully thus far, we have not had to go in yet. So the house remains kept up. I appreciate someone who shares in the responsibilities as well, that isn't one sided when it comes to keeping up the place. I like getting out of the house when weather permits, taking the dogs for a walk, maybe going to a lake to relax with a beer or two. I'm not a heavy drinker and may have one once a month if that. I prefer someone who knows what boundaries are with drinking as I've been through relationships where I've become the babysitter and I don't want to do that again. In the end, I want to find a woman who knows who she is: has independence and confidence, is understanding, caring, honest (a huge one), has integrity, patience and knows how to balance who she is in the relationship...doesn't become the relationship if that makes sense. I want a person who has flaws as that is what makes each of us unique and has helped us to become the person we are. No one is perfect and I don't expect perfection, just be yourself. :) This doesn't give the full picture, but at least a small snippet of my preferences. Hopefully, more can be discussed with the right person;)
