"What good is livin' the life you've been given, if all you do is stand in one place..."A bit about me...I am professionally employed and have a University education. I have 2 amazing young kids.I am a fit guy, but prefer being active to working out. That being said, I do work out once in a while, but I love a good meal and I am a sucker for ice cream and milkshakes.I love playing and watching almost all sports. I play golf and baseball regularly, and would love to play more tennis if I had a tennis partner. I like curling in the winter, and find it hard to say no to a pick up game in just about any sport. I run once or twice a week. I love all things Blue Jays. In the winter Saturday night's should be spent with friends watching Hockey and Sunday afternoon football is great when time so rarely permits.I really love movies. Too many favorites to list.I love music. U2 tops the list. Basically everything but rap. I have music on a lot, and I "rock out" in the car....I love dining out.I love wine and good beerI like being active and most "perfect days" would be with some sort of "not at home" activity, but at the end of the day I love cuddling on the couch with a movie or TV.I like dressing up and going out for a night on the town (a tad less frequently these days)Not a lot of time for TV (other than the aforementioned late night sports highlight shows) but some fav's include Modern Family, Tosh.0, SharkTank. I loved "Lost'. I don't currently watch enough to get into the cool HBO shows, but I think I could get addicted pretty easy to shows like Breaking Bad.I am not a very good cook, but strangely still consider myself a "foodie", I love cooking shows. I'm OK on the BBQ.I love my dog.When I go to church twice a year I feel guilty that I should go more often.I love patio's.I love hanging out with friends, whether over good food, good wine, at a pub, on a patio, in a backyard, or in a garage, good company makes good times.I am a wee bit competitive...I love to travel. When I travel to tropical places I like to lounge, eat, drink and unwind. When I travel to places like Europe, you will need running shoes to keep up with me, there is a lot to see and we can rest when we get home.I take 1 bazillion pictures.I like the outdoors, I like hiking, bike riding (road, trail and mountain)and exploring. I like camping, but I am good after ***days. I do not hunt.I am a dreamer, and usually dream pretty big. I like big adventurous goals.I am more "white collar" than "blue collar".I am pretty engineering and a little bit "Handy Manny" but would rather pay a mechanic to fix my car than do it myself. I do like home projects and I love gardening.I like making people laugh. I would describe my sense of humour as fairly dry/witty. For an example I think Modern Family is absolutely Hilarious.Every once in a while I like a good veg out day of doing nothing.I am equally comfortable at a black tie event discussing politics, art, and world events, as I am at a beach bar in sandals taking in the vibe, on a sports field sweating my butt off, or in a garage playing darts and watching the game with the boys.I read a lot, usually non-fiction, but like a good novel too.I love chocolate milk.In “the real world” I am really laid-back, generous, caring, patient and overly polite. I'm not saying my laundry bin doesn't overflow from time to time (ok, it usually does), but homes should generally be tidy. Kitchens need to be squeaky clean. Style and dress say a lot, especially with first impressions. I like comfy clothes around the house, but not at a nice restaurant.... :)I am 37 years old. Been there, done that. No games. I know what I am. I was thrown a curveball by life, I didn't expect to re-enter the dating world. Life is very good, I would love someone to share it with and make it a Great life together. I am more of an "in person" kinda guy than an "online" kinda guy, but life is busy and I have little interest in the bar scene/meat market, so here I am trying this out.
