She reluctantly opened her eyes and was pulled into the present. The faint trail of her feelings still lingered as a piece of glass caught her eye. It was large in comparison to the glittering ocean she stood upon. She carefully picked it up using the sleeve of her cardigan. “How did you escape?” she thought as she held the glass out in front of her in a stream of sun speckled dust.As she stood there staring at her own reflection the gentle breeze swept through the small storefront window tugging at her remnants of emotions. It was then, in a startling moment, that her reflection closed her eyes.
