If you're anything like me, you've been single for a million years and have no idea what to expect from online dating. You also more than likely have no idea how to meet those with dating potential in the "real world" anymore. Everyone who's anyone now-a-days seems to be rocking this scene, and successfully... so I guess you could say that's part of the reason as to why I'm here. Also, I work a lot (like a lot, a lot... self-proclaimed workaholic right here) so my impressive work-ethic that doesn't make meeting "cool" people overly easy. Surgeons in real life aren't half as attractive as they appear on t.v... who would have thought? Anyway, I guess you could say I am well educated, and for being as young as I am I have been kicking some major ass on the career front since finishing school; this definitely shouldn't send you on some gnarly ego trip.- My friends are like family and mean the world to me; I would also say I have an amazing relationship with my awesome (yet oddly dysfunctional) family. It essentially boils down to the fact that I'd like to meet someone intelligent, attractive (I'm partial to the tall-dark-handsome type... but hell, who isn't?) hardworking and successful - or at the very least confident in what it is they do for a living (yeah bro - you gotta be employed). You should also probably be sarcastic, witty, and a bit of an ass, or I probably/definitely wont like you. I am looking for someone who can compliment my life-style, and someone who makes me want to be a better person. I have many great things happening in my life, and it would be great to share those things with someone special. With all of that being said, when it comes to the romantically magical world of meetville, I am fairly quick at being able to determine whether or not I would consider the thought of entertaining you. I love live music and I'll be happy listening to almost anything! I love traveling and I'm always craving a vacation somewhere new. I've been all over the east coast, spent a few weeks in Europe, and I try to get to Vegas one or twice a year. I try to find the gym 3 to 4 days out of the week, and for the most part try to eat healthy but a night at Trudys can lead me astray. I have a positive outlook on life. It's easy to make me laugh, and I try not to hold grudges...what's the point? I'm in a good place in life right now. I have a great job (although I would love to own my own bakery or catering business someday) and great friends who mean the world to me. I'm looking to find someone who is easy going, funny, confident, but not arrogant. I think honesty and communication are highly important in any relationship.As for you, I'll most likely read your profile before I even look through your photos. If your words can't hold my attention, then your dashing good looks probably won't either (at least not for very long). If your main photo is you standing in front of a mirror without your shirt on, I admire your confidence, but that's not what I'm looking for. I'm a sucker for a man with at least a basic knowledge of the English language and grammar. A man who smiles when he talks about his mother or his sister and doesn't care about looking cool when he plays with kids or puppies. And definitely a man who know the words to a few Johnny Cash songs. Something simple, coffee or dinner somewhere fun, not fussy. This needs to be a place we can just talk, get to know each other, and see if there is chemistry.
