Its hard to judge authenticity and genuineness in a few words on a profile. In the morning, when you see your spouse sleeping there, mouth open, drool coming out, a new blemish setting there on their chin, we may not have fancy feelings of love. Or when they do something that is selfish or hurtful, we may not feel "in love", but when we make the choice to still serve them, to cultivate those "feelings" of ours into returning, to honor them and sacrifice for them, we choose to love them. It is in this area that most people have fallen short. They think feelings come before the choice (which does often happen in the early stages of relationships), but in truth, it is the choice which precedes the feelings that enable true commitment, and allows the true manifestation of love. I am an affectionate guy who enjoys conversation. I do my best to let the Lord lead me in all that I do. I am not a Christian who just shows up on Sunday mornings, puts in my time, then goes home and is done with the "god thing" for the week. ***, I want Christ to be a daily reality.
