Such as watching movies and cuddling :) Great Combination! I enjoy a healthy life style so you should to. Nothing extreme but you need to take care of yourself. People would describe me as easy going and down-to-earth. I dislike people who are fake and cannot be themselves, also if you have negative attitude you are not for me. My life always has a positive spin, and my cloud has an endless silver lining. Honesty, and openness is huge quality I look for. My perception and intuition are things I go by in life. So far it hasn't steered me in the wrong direction. People need to have a sense of direction in life that includes goals. You can only go as far as you push! I'm also independent and value my space. So it would be ideal to meet someone who compliments me in that area. Don't get me wrong I enjoy spending time with the person I'm with, but I still want to be able to do the things I enjoy. I just bought my first home and will be moving in the summer. Really excited about it, my next goal is a retirement property somewhere in Central America. I have a few tattoos. I like console gaming, but I mostly play 2 online games (world of warcraft and league of legends). I have a modded original xbox and many of the Nintendo consoles predating the wii (nes/ snes/ n64/game cube). I’m into techy stuff, I have a tablet for art which connects into my laptop or desktop and a standard tablet (a pipo smart s1). I’m handy with pc repair, backing up media, creating organized digital media, problem solving and camera equipment. I work as a photographer and have been involved in photography for 10years roughly, seriously for 7. I took journalism and advertising in college, I chose an opportunity to work for a professional photography studio vs. completing my 2nd year in journalism (although I have some of the credits). Unfortunately the career promise didn’t last as long as was offered and circumstances prevented me from returning to complete it. I’d like to do that someday. I don’t regret the experience and skills learned by any means. I like indie rock, metal, punk, rock, alternative music. I’m not really into rap or country, but I’ll listen to anything collectively. So the TLDR verison of above is: console gaming playing league of legends online world of warcraft graphic design photography reading, music guitar pick jewelry making (mostly necklaces). I do a lot of graphics for twitch layouts and other gaming communities.now before you contact me I have one simple rule: please dont use chatspeak. no abbreviated gradeschool ur2hot ur so cool, 2day etc. use your words. please for the love of **** use your words. typos i can handle because anyone who's received a text or a reply from my phone will know I'm not perfect at it..and occasionally illegible. don't tell me you're a college grade and write like a grade 7 lovesick fanboy puppy. All I ask is an entry level of basic literacy. deciphering words from actual numbers in endless non punctuated sentences is hard to read. please put some thought into constructing a conversation or reply. I see enough of the literate short internet chatspeak in all my games i play. you can drop apostrophes cuz **** that extra button. But you know what I mean. By training I am a cultural scientist, a linguist (I speak English, French and Polish as well as German, my mother tongue) and a literary scholar. But I enjoy everything that teaches me about the things that go on around and within us - if you happen to know the popular science radio show "Radiolab" or the "TED talks"; that's very much what I love to relax to after a day of teaching at my university and producing some more pages of what is going to become my dissertation one day...I am a very good listener and interlocutor, because I can put myself into other people's shoes to give them advice or just comfort. I am generally optimistic and encourage others as much as possible. But I can be also quite direct too, especially with friends and family, because loyalty to me means that you sometimes have to tell people what they don't want to hear - and I accept the same honesty as far as I am concerned. Still, I am basically a harmony-seeking person who doesn't like to quarrel; yet I will speak frankly when something bothers me. With the people closest to me I can enjoy silence as much as laughter and talking. I love eating and cooking (not sure which one is more satisfying) and I frequently try out new recipes. I have a sweet tooth that is definitely stronger than me. But fortunately I also enjoy exercizing. Especially when I'm running I feel like leaving everything behind. I can lose myself in music and literature and I think that in a positive sense I don't have a taste in either, I just have moods. I cherish a classical piece of music (medieval, Baroque, Romantic, minimal) as much a fine crossover project, world music, progressive bluegrass (Bela Fleck) or just some good healthy pop beats. I consider this "hopeless tolerance" a good thing: beauty is where you find it - or where it finds you. I love to take pictures and to do creative writing, to travel and to meet new people (my personal highlight last year was a three-). I guess it's time now to talk about "what I'm looking for" with my profile. Maybe it's too simple, but for me it's really about having good conversations with you in the first place and letting things go the way they "want to", nice and easy. I am not disappointed if I don't find "the" one big love at once (to be honest, I don't believe in "the" big love). Let's start by getting to know each other and see what happens.
