Please understand that I am a single mom, and my daughter does live with me. So, even though I would love to be super spontaneous and just get up and go any time it's convenient for you, I just simply can't. I actually need sufficient time to find a sitter. I also believe that we should have somewhat of a relationship before I introduce you to my daughter or even bring you into my home with her there. I grew up in a very athletic family and like playing most sports. I'm pretty competitive and I enjoy the trash talk that comes with it. I don't mind losing either, it just makes me strive to be better! I love playing softball, it's the sport that I am most passionate about playing, even though I am not nearly as good as I used to be! I play on a co-ed softball team every Friday night and really love it.....actually I wish I played more. I love playing fun, ridiculously fast card games. There's no such thing as a regular game of UNO in my house! I'd love to teach you how to play one of my favorite games, NERTS, if you'd let me! Watch out though...you just might become addicted! It happens to the best of us! I love spending time with my family and friends...but then again, who doesn't? I have been 3 times already, and each time has been a blast! I live life for today. I am hopeful for the future but also don't live in the past. I regret NOTHING in my life. I believe you should treat past events as learning experiences. You can sit and mope about things already done, or you can get off your fanny and turn those times into positives! I do have a large "pet peeve" and it's called judgement. I don't judge anybody and I don't like to be judged. I feel people are who they are and will do what they wanna do. I want someone who is sincere, caring, trustworthy, compassionate and responsible. Humor (especially sarcasm) is a BIG plus in my book!! Life is just too short to not have some fun dangit!I have been through some health issues over the past decade and I truly believe they, however unfortunate, have shaped me into the person I've become today! I am more compassionate, patient and understanding person nowadays. I would also say that I'm pretty mellow. I love doing things but I also don't mind slowing down once in awhile to truly appreciate what each day has to offer. I'm a dog person, but have 2 cats. I love animals, but hate geese. I have two rescue horses, a gelding I thought I'd have to put down when I got him ten years ago and a mare I adopted from a rescue (right before I moved). I work out everyday, but don't belong to a gym (although I do have a couple of membership tags on my car keys). I love to travel, but rarely get go anywhere. I'm quirky and outgoing when the mood strikes me. I have a dry, sarcastic sense of humor, but can appreciate a dumb blond joke. I'm a jeans and tee-shirt kind of girl, but I own several skirts. I love a good beer, so I don't drink Domestics.I'm usually the person people come to for advice or with random questions. If I don't know the answer, I'm really good at making up something that sounds real. It's just luck that most of the time it turns out to be right!I get pissed at TV and movie characters who make obviously stupid choices. I often yell at inanimate objects for not working right or (more likely) for jumping out at me from no-where. I don't often read aloud, but I do talk to myself (and those objects I just finished yelling at).Other things, I'm easily amused and easily distracted. I'm one of those people that figures there's no point sweating the small stuff, and it's all pretty much small stuff. Besides, things always seem to work out how they're supposed to whether you stress about them or not. Very laid back, if you couldn't tell. I have a tendency to go off on random tangents, but I can, usually, wind myself back to where I started. I get lost, even with GPS, but I usually find really cool off-the-beaten-track things that way.****Okay, apparently this needs to be said after all: If all you write to me is something along the lines of "you're pretty," "nice smile," or "want to chat" odds are I'm not going to answer. OR if you have a partner and are looking for "fun on the side". I am NOT going to be the other woman.
