I think keeping a first date simple is the best way to go. Meeting for a coffee or lunch is much more relaxing and less intense then a dinner date and night out. If there isn't any chemistry, then you are only together for a brief time. If there is chemistry on a first date I would want to plan another date.

Although, I’m not so good hooking worms without gloves and Clorox wipes beside me. Dating can get expensive. A fancy restaurant does little to impress me over a guy that gets creative to make an evening memorable. A simple pizza and bottle of wine fall right in my comfort zone. Movie, dinner, drinks, walk around a park, I'm a pretty cheap date. A comedy club sounds fun.
